do you not know that god knows everything in the heavens and the earth ? this is in a book .
አላህ በሰማይና በምድር ውስጥ ያለን ሁሉ በእርግጥ የሚያውቅ መኾኑን አታውቅምን ይህ በመጽሐፍ ውስጥ ( የተመዘገበ ) ነው ፡ ፡ ይህ በአላህ ላይ ገር ነው ፡ ፡

do you not know that allah knows what is in the heaven and earth ? indeed , that is in a record .
አላህ በሰማይና በምድር ውስጥ ያለን ሁሉ በእርግጥ የሚያውቅ መኾኑን አታውቅምን ይህ በመጽሐፍ ውስጥ ( የተመዘገበ ) ነው ፡ ፡ ይህ በአላህ ላይ ገር ነው ፡ ፡

his companion said , during his conversation with him : ' what , do you disbelieve in him who created you from dust , then from a spermdrop , and then fashioned you into a man !
ጓደኛው ( አማኙ ) እርሱ ለእርሱ የሚመላለሰው ሲኾን « በዚያ ከዐፈር ፣ ከዚያም ከፍትወት ጠብታ ከፈጠረህ ፣ ከዚያም ሰው ባደረገህ ( አምላክ ) ካድክን » አለው ፡ ፡

disputing with him , his companion said : " do you disbelieve in him who created you from dust , then a drop of semen , then formed you into a man ?
ጓደኛው ( አማኙ ) እርሱ ለእርሱ የሚመላለሰው ሲኾን « በዚያ ከዐፈር ፣ ከዚያም ከፍትወት ጠብታ ከፈጠረህ ፣ ከዚያም ሰው ባደረገህ ( አምላክ ) ካድክን » አለው ፡ ፡

do you find it so strange that a message should come from your lord through a man from among yourselves , so that he may warn you and so that you may fear god and be shown mercy ? "
« አላህን ልትፈሩና ይታዘንላችሁም ዘንድ ከእናንተው ( ጎሳ ) በኾነ ሰው ላይ እንዲያስጠነቅቃችሁ ከጌታችሁ ግሳጼ ቢመጣላችሁ ትደነቃላችሁን » ( አላቸው ) ፡ ፡

do you wonder that a remembrance should come to you from your lord to a man from yourselves in order that he may warn you and that you may be cautious so that mercy comes upon you '
« አላህን ልትፈሩና ይታዘንላችሁም ዘንድ ከእናንተው ( ጎሳ ) በኾነ ሰው ላይ እንዲያስጠነቅቃችሁ ከጌታችሁ ግሳጼ ቢመጣላችሁ ትደነቃላችሁን » ( አላቸው ) ፡ ፡

and hath seen in a vision a man named ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.
እነሆ፥ እርሱ ይጸልያልና፤ ሐናንያ የሚሉትም ሰው ገብቶ ደግሞ እንዲያይ እጁን ሲጭንበት አይቶአል አለው።

how many generations living before them did we destroy ? do you find anyone of them around or do you even hear any word from them ?
ከእነሱም በፊት ከክፍለ ዘመናት ሕዝቦች ብዙዎችን አጥፍተናል ፡ ፡ ከእነሱ አንድን እንኳ ታያለህን ወይስ ለእነሱ ሹክሹክታን ትሰማለህን

and recite , [ o muhammad ] , what has been revealed to you of the book of your lord . there is no changer of his words , and never will you find in other than him a refuge .
ከጌታህም መጽሐፍ ወደ አንተ የተወረደውን አንብብ ፡ ፡ ለቃላቶቹ ለዋጭ የላቸውም ፡ ፡ ከእርሱም በቀር መጠጊያን በፍጹም አታገኝም ፡ ፡

[ this is ] the established way of allah which has occurred before . and never will you find in the way of allah any change .
አላህ ያችን ከዚህ በፊት በእርግጥ ያለፈችውን ልማድ ደነገገ ፡ ፡ ለአላህም ልማድ ለውጥን አታገኝም ፡ ፡

do you wonder that a warning has come to you from your lord through a man who is one of you and warns you ? remember , he made you leaders after the people of noah , and gave you a greater increase in your stature .
« ከጌታችሁ የኾነ ግሣጼ ከእናንተው ውስጥ ባንድ ሰው ላይ ያስጠነቀቃችሁ ዘንድ ቢመጣባችሁ ትደነቃላችሁን ከኑሕም ሕዝቦች በኋላ ምትኮች ባደረጋችሁና በፍጠረትም ግዙፍነትን በጨመረላችሁ ጊዜ አስታውሱ ፡ ፡ የሻችሁትንም ታገኙ ዘንድ የአላህን ጸጋዎች አስታውሱ ፡ ፡ »

do you consider it odd that there should come to you a reminder from your lord through a man from among yourselves , so that he may warn you ? remember when he made you successors after the people of noah , and increased you vastly in creation .
« ከጌታችሁ የኾነ ግሣጼ ከእናንተው ውስጥ ባንድ ሰው ላይ ያስጠነቀቃችሁ ዘንድ ቢመጣባችሁ ትደነቃላችሁን ከኑሕም ሕዝቦች በኋላ ምትኮች ባደረጋችሁና በፍጠረትም ግዙፍነትን በጨመረላችሁ ጊዜ አስታውሱ ፡ ፡ የሻችሁትንም ታገኙ ዘንድ የአላህን ጸጋዎች አስታውሱ ፡ ፡ »

do you find it strange that a message should come from your lord , through one of your own men , to warn you ? remember how he made you successors of noah 's people , and increased you greatly in stature .
« ከጌታችሁ የኾነ ግሣጼ ከእናንተው ውስጥ ባንድ ሰው ላይ ያስጠነቀቃችሁ ዘንድ ቢመጣባችሁ ትደነቃላችሁን ከኑሕም ሕዝቦች በኋላ ምትኮች ባደረጋችሁና በፍጠረትም ግዙፍነትን በጨመረላችሁ ጊዜ አስታውሱ ፡ ፡ የሻችሁትንም ታገኙ ዘንድ የአላህን ጸጋዎች አስታውሱ ፡ ፡ »

do you then believe in a part of the book and disbelieve in the other ? what then is the re ward of such among you as do this but disgrace in the life of this world , and on the day of resurrection they shall be sent back to the most grievous chastisement , and allah is not at all heedless of what you do .
ከዚያም እናንተ እነዚያ ነፍሶቻችሁን የምትገድሉ ከናንተም የኾኑ ጭፍሮችን በኃጢአትና በመበደል በነርሱ ላይ የምትረዳዱ ስትኾኑ ከአገሮቻቸው የምታወጡ ምርኮኞችም ኾነው ቢመጡዋችሁ የምትበዡ ናችሁ ፡ ፡ እርሱ ( ነገሩ ) እነርሱን ማውጣት በእናንተ ላይ የተከለከለ ነው ፡ ፡ በመጽሐፉ ከፊል ታምናላችሁን ? በከፊሉም ትክዳላችሁን ? ከእናንተም ይህንን የሚሠራ ሰው ቅጣት በቅርቢቱ ሕይወት ውርደት እንጂ ሌላ አይደለም ፡ ፡ በትንሣኤ ቀንም ወደ ብርቱ ቅጣት ይመለሳሉ ፡ ፡ አላህም ከምትሠሩት ሥራ ሁሉ ዘንጊ አይደለም ፡ ፡

do you wonder that a remembrance should come to you from your lord to a man from yourselves in order that he may warn you ? remember , that he has made you the heirs of noah 's nation and increased you in broad stature , remember the favors of allah in order that you prosper '
« ከጌታችሁ የኾነ ግሣጼ ከእናንተው ውስጥ ባንድ ሰው ላይ ያስጠነቀቃችሁ ዘንድ ቢመጣባችሁ ትደነቃላችሁን ከኑሕም ሕዝቦች በኋላ ምትኮች ባደረጋችሁና በፍጠረትም ግዙፍነትን በጨመረላችሁ ጊዜ አስታውሱ ፡ ፡ የሻችሁትንም ታገኙ ዘንድ የአላህን ጸጋዎች አስታውሱ ፡ ፡ »

brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
ወንድሞች ሆይ፥ ሰው በማናቸውም በደል ስንኳ ቢገኝ፥ መንፈሳውያን የሆናችሁ እናንተ እንደዚህ ያለውን ሰው በየውሃት መንፈስ አቅኑት፤ አንተ ደግሞ እንዳትፈተን ራስህን ጠብቅ።
