መልካም እንደምትሰራ ተስፋ አደርጋለሁ

he said : ' my lord knows what you are doing '
« ጌታዬ የምትሠሩትን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነው ፤ » አላቸው ፡ ፡

what ! when we are rotten bones ?
« የበሰበሱ አጥንቶች በኾን ጊዜ ( እንቀሰቀሳለን ? ) »

he said , ‘ my lord knows best what you are doing . ’
« ጌታዬ የምትሠሩትን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነው ፤ » አላቸው ፡ ፡

he said , ' my lord knows very well what you are doing . '
« ጌታዬ የምትሠሩትን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነው ፤ » አላቸው ፡ ፡

what , when we are bones old and wasted ? '
« የበሰበሱ አጥንቶች በኾን ጊዜ ( እንቀሰቀሳለን ? ) »

( shu 'aib ) said : " my lord knows well what you are doing . "
« ጌታዬ የምትሠሩትን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነው ፤ » አላቸው ፡ ፡

but if they dispute with you , say , ‘ allah knows best what you are doing .
ቢከራከሩህም « አላህ የምትሰሩትን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነው » በላቸው ፡ ፡

' my lord , save me and my people from that they are doing '
« ጌታዬ ሆይ ! እኔንም ቤተሰቦቼንም ከሚሠሩት ሥራ ( ቅጣት ) አድነን ፡ ፡ »

that is what we shall do to those who are guilty of crime .
በአመጸኞች ሁሉ እንደዚሁ እንሠራለን ፡ ፡

and if they should dispute with thee , do thou say , ' god knows very well what you are doing .
ቢከራከሩህም « አላህ የምትሰሩትን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነው » በላቸው ፡ ፡

and if they disobey you , then say , " indeed , i am disassociated from what you are doing . "
« እንቢ » ቢሉህም « እኔ ከምትሠሩት ንጹሕ ነኝ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

when we inspired to your mother what we inspired ,
« ወደናትህ በልብ የሚፈስን ነገር ባሳወቅን ጊዜ ፡ ፡

the future depends on what we do in the present
ጥገኛ

( muhammad ) , what we recite to you are revelations and words of wisdom .
ይህ ከተዓምራቶችና ጥበብን ከያዘው ተግሳጽ ሲኾን በአንተ ላይ እናነበዋለን ፡ ፡

say to those who disbelieve : ' do according to your station ; we are doing according to our station '
ለእነዚያም ለማያምኑት ባላችሁበት ሁኔታ ላይ ሥሩ ፤ እኛ ሠሪዎች ነንና በላቸው ፡ ፡

what we recite to you consists of signs and wise admonition .
ይህ ከተዓምራቶችና ጥበብን ከያዘው ተግሳጽ ሲኾን በአንተ ላይ እናነበዋለን ፡ ፡

and indeed , we are able to show you what we have promised them .
እኛም የምናስፈራራቸውን ነገር ልናሳይህ በእርግጥ ቻዮች ነን ፡ ፡

( they are ) those whose striving in this world go astray , while they think that what they are doing are good deeds .
እነዚያ እነሱ ሥራን የሚያሳምሩ የሚመስላቸው ሲሆኑ በቅርቢቱ ሕይወት ሥራቸው የጠፋባቸው ናቸው ፡ ፡

and most surely we are well able to make you see what we threaten them with .
እኛም የምናስፈራራቸውን ነገር ልናሳይህ በእርግጥ ቻዮች ነን ፡ ፡
