ቀስተ ደመናህን የምቆጥረው ነጎድጓዶችህን ሳይሆን ነጎድጓዶችህን ነው።

yea doubtless, and i count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of christ jesus my lord: for whom i have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that i may win christ,
አዎን፥ በእውነት ከሁሉ ይልቅ ስለሚበልጥ ስለ ክርስቶስ ኢየሱስ ስለ ጌታዬ እውቀት ነገር ሁሉ ጉዳት እንዲሆን እቈጥራለሁ፤ ስለ እርሱ ሁሉን ተጐዳሁ፥ ክርስቶስንም አገኝ ዘንድ፥ በክርስቶስም በማመን ያለው ጽድቅ ማለት በእምነት ከእግዚአብሔር ዘንድ ያለው ጽድቅ እንጂ ከሕግ ለእኔ ያለው ጽድቅ ሳይሆንልኝ፥ በእርሱ እገኝ ዘንድ ሁሉን እንደ ጕድፍ እቈጥራለሁ፤

brethren, i count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing i do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
ወንድሞች ሆይ፥ እኔ ገና እንዳልያዝሁት እቈጥራለሁ፤ ነገር ግን አንድ ነገር አደርጋለሁ፤ በኋላዬ ያለውን እየረሳሁ በፊቴ ያለውን ለመያዝ እዘረጋለሁ፥

when allah will say , o jesus son of mary , remember my blessing upon you and upon your mother , when i strengthened you with the holy spirit , so you would speak to the people in the cradle and in adulthood , and when i taught you the book and wisdom , the torah and the evangel , and when you would create from clay the form of a bird , with my leave , and you would breathe into it and it would become a bird , with my leave ; and you would heal the blind and the leper , with my leave , and you would raise the dead , with my leave ; and when i held off [ the evil of ] the children of israel from you when you brought them manifest proofs , whereat the faithless among them said , ‘ this is nothing but plain magic . ’
አላህ በሚል ጊዜ ( አስታውስ ) ፡ - « የመርየም ልጅ ዒሳ ሆይ ! በአንተና በእናትህ ላይ ( የዋልኩላችሁን ) ጸጋዬን አስታውስ ፡ ፡ በሕፃንነትና በከፈኒሳነት ( የበሰለ ሰው ኾነህ ) ሰዎችን የምትናገር ስትኾን በቅዱስ መንፈስ ( በገብሬል ) ባበረታሁህ ጊዜ ፤ ጽሕፈትንና ጥበብንም ተውራትንና ኢንጂልንም ባስተማርኩህ ጊዜ ፣ ከጭቃም የወፍ ቅርጽ ብጤ በፈቃዴ በምትሠራና በውስጧ በምትነፋ በፈቃዴም ወፍ በምትኾን ጊዜ ፣ ዕውርም ኾኖ የተወለደንና ለምጻምንም በፈቃዴ በምታሽር ጊዜ ፣ ሙታንንም በፈቃዴ ( ከመቃብራቸው ) በምታወጣ ጊዜ ፣ የእስራኤልንም ልጆች በተአምራት በመጣህባቸውና ከእነሱ እነዚያ የካዱት ይህ ግልጽ ድግምት እንጅ ሌላ አይደለም ባሉ ጊዜ ፣ ( ሊገድሉህ ሲያስቡህ ) ከአንተ ላይ በከለከልኩልህም ጊዜ ( ያደረግሁልህን ውለታ አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡ »
