we carried him in a well built , watertight vessel made from planks ( of wood )
ባለ ሳንቃዎችና ባለሚስማሮች በኾነችም ታንኳ ላይ ጫንነው ፡ ፡

but we bore him on an ( ark ) made of broad planks and caulked with palm-fibre :
ባለ ሳንቃዎችና ባለሚስማሮች በኾነችም ታንኳ ላይ ጫንነው ፡ ፡

pleasing seem their persons when you look at them ; and when they talk , you listen to their speech . yet they are like the wooden panelling of a wall .
ባየሃቸውም ጊዜ አካሎቻቸው ( ግዙፍነታቸው ) ያስደንቁሃል ፡ ፡ ቢናገሩም ለንግግራቸው ታዳምጣለህ ፤ ( ከዕውቀት ባዶ በመኾን ) ፡ ፡ እነርሱ ልክ በግድግዳ የተጠጉ ግንዶችን ይመስላሉ ፡ ፡ ጩኸትን ሁሉ በእነርሱ ላይ ነው ብለው ያስባሉ ፡ ፡ እነርሱ ጠላቶች ናቸውና ተጠንቀቃቸው ፡ ፡ አላህ ይጋደላቸው ፤ ( ከእምነት ) እንዴት ይመለሳሉ !

and their prophet said to them , “ indeed the sign of his kingdom will be the coming of a ( wooden ) box to you , in which from your lord is the contentment of hearts and containing some souvenirs ( remnants ) left behind by the honourable moosa and the honourable haroon ( aaron ) , borne by the angels ; indeed in it is a great sign * for you if you are believers . ” ( the remnants of pious persons are blessed by allah . )
ነቢያቸውም ለእነርሱ ፡ - « የንግሥናው ምልክት ከጌታችሁ የኾነ እርጋታ የሙሳ ቤተሰብና የሃሩን ቤተሰብ ከተውትም ቅርስ በውስጡ ያለበት መላእክት የሚሸከሙት ኾኖ ሳጥኑ ሊመጣላችሁ ነው ፡ ፡ አማኞች ብትኾኑ በዚህ ለእናንተ እርግጠኛ ምልክት አልለ » አላቸው ፡ ፡
