በዚህ አገር ( በመካ ) እምላለሁ ፡ ፡

by the yonder secure city ,
በዚህ በጸጥተኛው አገርም ( እምላለሁ ) ፡ ፡

yonder is hell , which ye were promised .
ይህቺ ያቺ ትቀጠሩዋት የነበረችው ገሀነም ናት ፡ ፡

and thou shalt be allowed in yonder city -
አንተ በዚህ አገር ሰፋሪ ስትኾን ፡ ፡

yonder is the hell which the culprits belied .
ይህቺ ያቺ አመጸኞች በእርሷ ያስተባብሉባት የነበረችው ገሀነም ናት ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

stamp the ground with thy foot. yonder is water to wash in , cool , and water to drink .
« በእግርህ ( ምድርን ) ምታ ፡ ፡ ይህ ቀዝቃዛ መታጠቢያ መጠጥም ነው » ( ተባለ ) ፡ ፡

so yonder are their houses overturned , for they did wrong . verily , herein is a sign unto a people who know .
እኚህም በበደላቸው ምክንያት ባዶዎች ሲሆኑ ቤቶቻቸው ናቸው ፡ ፡ በዚህም ውስጥ ለሚያወቁ ሕዝቦች አስደናቂ ተዓምር አለበት ፡ ፡

then cometh jesus with them unto a place called gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, sit ye here, while i go and pray yonder.
በዚያን ጊዜ ኢየሱስ ከእነርሱ ጋር ጌቴሴማኒ ወደምትባል ስፍራ መጣ ደቀ መዛሙርቱንም። ወዲያ ሄጄ ስጸልይ ሳለ በዚህ ተቀመጡ አላቸው።

and how many a community have we destroyed that was thankless for its means of livelihood ! and yonder are their dwellings , which have not been inhabited after them save a little .
ከከተማም ኑሮዋን ( ምቾቷን ) የካደችን ( ከተማ ) ያጠፋናት ብዙ ናት ፡ ፡ እነዚህም ከእነሱ በኋላ ጥቂት ጊዜ እንጅ ያልተኖረባቸው ሲኾኑ መኖሪያዎቻቸው ናቸው ፡ ፡ እኛም ( ከእነርሱ ) ወራሾች ነበርን ፡ ፡

and how many a city have we destroyed that exulted in their living ! and yonder are their dwellings which have not been inhabited after them unless for a little while ; and verily we !
ከከተማም ኑሮዋን ( ምቾቷን ) የካደችን ( ከተማ ) ያጠፋናት ብዙ ናት ፡ ፡ እነዚህም ከእነሱ በኋላ ጥቂት ጊዜ እንጅ ያልተኖረባቸው ሲኾኑ መኖሪያዎቻቸው ናቸው ፡ ፡ እኛም ( ከእነርሱ ) ወራሾች ነበርን ፡ ፡

and : o adam : dwell thou and thy spouse in the garden and eat ye twain thereof whence ye will , and approach not yonder tree lest ye twain become of the wrong-doers .
« አዳም ሆይ ! አንተም ሚስትህም በገነት ተቀመጡ ፡ ፡ ከሻችሁትም ስፍራ ብሉ ፡ ፡ ግን ይህችን ዛፍ አትቅረቡ ፡ ፡ ( ራሳቸውን ) ከሚበድሉት ትኾናላችሁና » ( አላቸው ) ፡ ፡

and fir 'awn proclaimed among his people , saying : o my people ! is not mine the dominion of mis and witness yonder rivers flowing underneath me ? see ye not ?
ፈርዖንም በሕዝቦቹ ውስጥ ተጣራ ፡ ፡ አለም ፤ « ሕዝቦቼ ሆይ ! የምስር ግዛት የኔ አይደለምን ? እነዚህም ጅረቶች ከስሬ የሚፈሱ ሲኾኑ ( የኔ አይደሉምን ? ) አትመለከቱምን ?
