ሻወር ውሰድ

for whoever wills among you to take a right course .
ከናንተ ቀጥተኛ መኾንን ለሻ ሰው ( መገሰጫ ነው ) ፡ ፡

it is not for the merciful to take a son !
ለአልረሕማን ልጅን መያዝ አይገባውም ፡ ፡

and it behoves not the all-merciful to take a son .
ለአልረሕማን ልጅን መያዝ አይገባውም ፡ ፡

had god pleased to take a son , he could have chosen whom he liked from among those he has created . glory be to him .
አላህ ልጅን መያዝ በፈለገ ኖሮ ከሚፈጥረው ውስጥ የሚሻውን ይመርጥ ነበር ፡ ፡ ጥራት ተገባው ፡ ፡ እርሱ አሸናፊው አንዱ አላህ ነው ፡ ፡

had allah intended to take a son , he could have chosen from those he has created whatever he wished . immaculate is he !
አላህ ልጅን መያዝ በፈለገ ኖሮ ከሚፈጥረው ውስጥ የሚሻውን ይመርጥ ነበር ፡ ፡ ጥራት ተገባው ፡ ፡ እርሱ አሸናፊው አንዱ አላህ ነው ፡ ፡

if you wish to take a wife in the place of another wife , and you have given to one a qintar ( 98 , 841 . 6 lbs . ) so do not take from it anything .
በሚስትም ስፍራ ሚስትን ለመለወጥ ብትፈልጉ ለአንደኛይቱ ( ለምትፈታው ) ብዙን ገንዘብ የሰጣችኋት ስትኾኑ ከርሱ ምንንም አትውሰዱ ፡ ፡ በመበደልና ግልጽ በኾነ ኀጢአት ትወስዱታላችሁን

if allah had intended to take a son , he could have chosen from what he creates whatever he willed . exalted is he ; he is allah , the one , the prevailing .
አላህ ልጅን መያዝ በፈለገ ኖሮ ከሚፈጥረው ውስጥ የሚሻውን ይመርጥ ነበር ፡ ፡ ጥራት ተገባው ፡ ፡ እርሱ አሸናፊው አንዱ አላህ ነው ፡ ፡

had allah willed to take a son ( or offspring or children ) , he could have chosen whom he pleased out of those whom he created . but glory be to him !
አላህ ልጅን መያዝ በፈለገ ኖሮ ከሚፈጥረው ውስጥ የሚሻውን ይመርጥ ነበር ፡ ፡ ጥራት ተገባው ፡ ፡ እርሱ አሸናፊው አንዱ አላህ ነው ፡ ፡

had we intended to take a diversion , we could have taken it from [ what is ] with us - if [ indeed ] we were to do so .
መጫወቻን ( ሚስትና ልጅን ) ልንይዝ በሻን ኖሮ ከእኛ ዘንድ በያዝነው ነበር ፡ ፡ ( ግን ) ሠሪዎች አይደለንም ፡ ፡

if you desire to take a wife in place of another , and you have given one of them a quintal [ of gold ] , do not take anything away from it . would you take it by way of calumny and flagrant sin ? !
በሚስትም ስፍራ ሚስትን ለመለወጥ ብትፈልጉ ለአንደኛይቱ ( ለምትፈታው ) ብዙን ገንዘብ የሰጣችኋት ስትኾኑ ከርሱ ምንንም አትውሰዱ ፡ ፡ በመበደልና ግልጽ በኾነ ኀጢአት ትወስዱታላችሁን

those who disbelieve in god and his messengers , and want to separate between god and his messengers , and say , “ we believe in some , and reject some , and wish ” to take a path in between .
እነዚያ በአላህና በመልክተኞቹ የሚክዱ ፣ በአላህና በመልክተኞቹም መካከል መለየትን የሚፈልጉ ፣ « በከፊሉም እናምናለን በከፊሉም እንክዳለን » የሚሉ ፣ በዚህም መካከል መንገድን ሊይዙ የሚፈልጉ ፤

had we intended to take a pastime ( i.e. a wife or a son , etc . ) , we could surely have taken it from us , if we were going to do ( that ) .
