Նա աւելացրեց. «Օրհնեալ լինի Տէր Աստուած՝ Սէմի Աստուածը, իսկ Քանանը թող լինի նրա ծառան:

Մարդու թշնամիները իր տնեցիները կը լինեն:

ու նրա թագաւորութիւնը վախճան չի ունենայ»:

Բայց նրա մայրը պատասխանեց եւ ասաց. «Ո՛չ, այլ Յովհաննէս պէտք է կոչուի»:

Ով որ հարուածի իր հօրը կամ մօրը, մահապատժի թող ենթարկուի:

Իսկ մշակները երբ տեսան, որ նա գալիս է, իրար ասացին. «Ժառանգը սա է, եկէք սպանենք սրան, եւ ժառանգութիւնը մերը թող լինի»:

Եւ կը գցեն նրանց բոցավառ հնոցի մէջ. այնտեղ կը լինի լաց եւ ատամների կրճտում:

Վրանի ամբողջ սպասքը, դրա բոլոր գործիքները եւ բակի բոլոր ցիցերը պղնձից թող լինեն»:

Ով իր անձը բարձրացնում է, կը խոնարհուի. եւ ով խոնարհեցնում է իր անձը, կը բարձրանայ:

and if i by beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.
Եւ եթէ ես Բէեղզեբուղով եմ հանում դեւերին, ձեր որդիները ինչո՞վ կը հանեն. դրա համար էլ նրանք կը լինեն ձեր դատաւորները:

tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?
«Ասա՛ մեզ, ե՞րբ պիտի լինի այդ, եւ ի՞նչ կը լինի նշանը, երբ կատարուելու լինի այդ բոլորը»:
