their looks cast down , abasement shall overtake them ; and they were called upon to make obeisance indeed while yet they were safe .
তাদের দৃষ ্ টি অবনত থাকবে ; তারা লাঞ ্ ছনাগ ্ রস ্ ত হবে , অথচ যখন তারা সুস ্ থ ও স ্ বাভাবিক অবস ্ থায় ছিল , তখন তাদেরকে সেজদা করতে আহবান জানানো হত ।

do they not know that whoever acts in opposition to allah and his apostle , he shall surely have the fire of hell to abide in it ? that is the grievous abasement .
তারা কি একথা জেনে নেয়নি যে , আল ্ লাহর সাথে এবং তাঁর রসূলের সাথে যে মোকাবেলা করে তার জন ্ যে নির ্ ধারিত রয়েছে দোযখ ; তাতে সব সময় থাকবে । এটিই হল মহা-অপমান ।

neither dust nor abasement shall overcast their faces . they shall be the inhabitants of paradise , and they shall remain in it [ forever ] .
যারা ভালো করে তাদের জন ্ য রয়েছে ভালো এবং আরো বেশি । আর তাদের মুখমন ্ ডলকে আচ ্ ছাদন করবে না কোনো কালিমা এবং কোনো অপমানও নয় । এরাই হচ ্ ছে বেহেশতের অধিবাসী , তারা সেখানে থাকবে স ্ থায়ীভাবে ।

as for those who have earned evil deeds , evil shall be recompensed with its like . abasement will cover them , they shall have none to defend them from allah as though their faces were covered with parts of the blackness of night .
আর যারা মন ্ দ অর ্ জন করে মন ্ দকাজের প ্ রতিফল হবে তার অনুরূপ , আর তাদের আচ ্ ছাদন হবে অপমান । তাদের জন ্ য আল ্ লাহ ্ থেকে কোনো রক ্ ষক নেই , -- যেন তাদের মুখমন ্ ডল আচ ্ ছাদিত হয়েছে নিশীথের গহন অন ্ ধকারের একাংশ দিয়ে । এরাই হচ ্ ছে আগুনের অধিবাসী , তারা সেখানে থাকবে দীর ্ ঘকাল ।

' surely those who took to themselves the calf -- anger shall overtake them from their lord , and abasement in this present life ; so we recompense those who are forgers .
অবশ ্ য যারা গোবৎসকে উপাস ্ য বানিয়ে নিয়েছে , তাদের উপর তাদের পরওয়ারদেগারের পক ্ ষ থেকে পার ্ থিব এ জীবনেই গযব ও লাঞ ্ জনা এসে পড়বে । এমনি আমি অপবাদ আরোপকারীদেরকে শাস ্ তি দিয়ে থাকি ।

and on the day when those who disbelieve shall be brought before the fire : you did away with your good things in your life of the world and you enjoyed them for a while , so today you shall be rewarded with the punishment of abasement because you were unjustly proud in the land and because you transgressed .
আর সেই দিন যারা অবিশ ্ বাস পোষণ করেছিল তাদের সমাগত করা হবে আগুনের নিকটে , ''তোমরা তো তোমাদের ভাল জিনিসসব তোমাদের দুনিয়ার জীবনেই যেতে দিয়েছিলে, আর তোমরা সেখানে ভোগবিলাসই চেয়েছিলে, সুতরাং আজ তোমাদের প্রতিদান দেওয়া হবে এক লাঞ্ছনাকর শাস্তি, যেহেতু তোমরা দুনিয়াতে যথার্থ কারণ ব্যতীত বড়মানষি করতে, আর যেহেতু তোমরা সীমালংঘন করতে।’’

abasement is made to cleave to them wherever they are found , except under a covenant with allah and a covenant with men , and they have become deserving of wrath from allah , and humiliation is made to cleave to them ; this is because they disbelieved in the communications of allah and slew the prophets unjustly ; this is because they disobeyed and exceeded the limits .
আল ্ লাহর প ্ রতিশ ্ রুতি কিংবা মানুষের প ্ রতিশ ্ রুতি ব ্ যতিত ওরা যেখানেই অবস ্ থান করেছে সেখানেই তাদের ওপর লাঞ ্ ছনা চাপিয়ে দেয়া হয়েছে । আর ওরা উপার ্ জন করেছে আল ্ লাহর গযব । ওদের উপর চাপানো হয়েছে গলগ ্ রহতা । তা এজন ্ যে যে , ওরা আল ্ লাহর আয়াতসমূহকে অনবরত অস ্ বীকার করেছে এবং নবীগনকে অন ্ যায়ভাবে হত ্ যা করেছে । তার কারণ , ওরা নাফরমানী করেছে এবং সীমা লংঘন করেছে ।
