''যারা অনুসরণ করে সেই রসূলকে -- নবী, উম্মী, যাঁকে তারা পায় উল্লিখিত রয়েছে তাদের কাছের তওরাতে ও ইঞ্জীলে, আর যিনি তাদের নির্দেশ দেন সৎকাজের ও তাদের নিষেধ করেন অসৎকাজ থেকে, আর তাদের জন্য বৈধ করেন ভালো বিষয়বস্তু ও তাদের জন্য নিষেধ করেন মন্দ জিনিসগুলো, আর যিনি তাদের থেকে দূর করে দেন তাদের বোঝা ও বন্ধন যা তাদের উপরে ছিল। অতএব যারা তাঁতে বিশ্বাস করে ও তাঁকে মান্য করে ও তাঁকে সাহায্য করে আর অনুসরণ করে সেই আলো যা তাঁর সঙ্গে অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে, -- এরা নিজেরাই হচ্ছে সফলকাম।’’
