ငါတို့အဘတည်းဟူသော ဘုရားသခင်သည် ကမ္ဘာအဆက်ဆက် ဘုန်းကြီးတော်မူစေသတည်း။ အာမင်။

whatsoever is sold in the shambles, that eat, asking no question for conscience sake:
ဩတ္တပ္ပစိတ်ကို ထောက်ရသောကြောင့်၊ ဈေး၌ ရောင်းသမျှကို မစစ်ကြောမမေးမြန်းဘဲ စားကြလော့။

our soul waiteth for the lord: he is our help and our shield.
ငါတို့၏ဝိညာဉ်သည် ထာဝရဘုရားကို မြော်လင့် လျက်နေ၏။ ထိုဘုရားသည် ငါတို့ကို မစသောသူ၊ ကွယ် ကာသောသူဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။

the beams of our house are cedar, and our rafters of fir.

but they and our fathers dealt proudly, and hardened their necks, and hearkened not to thy commandments,

and our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.

and said, o my god, i am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to thee, my god: for our iniquities are increased over our head, and our trespass is grown up unto the heavens.
အို အကျွန်ုပ်ဘုရားသခင်၊ ကိုယ်တော်သို့ မမျှော် မကြည့်ဝံ့၊ ရှက်ကြောက်၍ မျက်နှာနီပါ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ်ဘုရား သခင်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ ပြုမိသော ဒုစရိုက်တို့သည် အကျွနုပ်တို့ ခေါင်းပေါ်မှာ အထပ်ထပ်လွှမ်းမိုး၍၊ ကြီးစွာသော အပြစ်သည် မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်သို့ မှီပါ၏။

and because of all this we make a sure covenant, and write it; and our princes, levites, and priests, seal unto it.
ထိုအကြောင်းအရာများကို ငါတို့သည် ဆင်ခြင် ပြီးမှ၊ သစ္စာပြု၍ စာချုပ်ကိုလည်း ရေးထားလျက်၊ ငါတို့ အကြီးအကဲ၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်၊ လေဝိသားတို့သည် တံဆိပ် ခတ်ကြ၏။

and these bottles of wine, which we filled, were new; and, behold, they be rent: and these our garments and our shoes are become old by reason of the very long journey.
စပျစ်ရည်ပြည့်သော ဤသားရေဘူးတို့သည် အသစ်ဖြစ်သော်လည်း၊ ယခုကြည့်ပါ စုတ်ကွဲလျက်ရှိပါ၏။ ဤအဝတ် ဤခြေနင်းတို့သည်လည်း အလွန်ခရီးဝေး သောကြောင့် ဟောင်းနွမ်းပါပြီဟု ပြန်လျှောက်ကြ၏။

and he said, if now i have found grace in thy sight, o lord, let my lord, i pray thee, go among us; for it is a stiffnecked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for thine inheritance.
