ခရစ်တော်သည်သင်တို့အထဲ၌ တည်လျက် ရှိတော်မူသည်တိုင်အောင် သင်တို့အဘို့ သားဘွားခြင်း ဝေဒနာကို ငါခံရသော ငါ့ချစ်သားတို့၊

my little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
ချစ်သားတို့၊ ငါတို့သည် စကားပြောကာမျှအားဖြင့်သာ မချစ်ဘဲ၊ စိတ်ပါကိုယ်ရောက် ဧကန်အမှန် ချစ်ကြကုန်အံ့။

my little children, these things write i unto you, that ye sin not. and if any man sin, we have an advocate with the father, jesus christ the righteous:
ချစ်သားတို့၊ သင်တို့သည်ဒုစရိုက်ကိုမပြုစေခြင်းငှါ ဤအရာများကိုသင်တို့အား ငါရေး၍ပေးလိုက်၏။ တစုံတယောက်သောသူသည် ဒုစရိုက်ကိုပြုမိလျှင်၊ ဖြောင့်မတ်တော်မူသောအရှင်ယေရှုခရစ်တည်းဟူသော ငါတို့အမှုဆောင်သခင်သည် ခမည်းတော်ထံ၌ ရှိတော်မူ၏။
