and they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto him, lord, is it i?

from that time jesus began to preach, and to say, repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

then inquired he of them the hour when he began to amend. and they said unto him, yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.

for this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. and they began to be merry.

and as he said these things unto them, the scribes and the pharisees began to urge him vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things:

at that time jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat.

and it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.

now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of jesus christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ϢϪⲞⲘ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲈⲦⲀϪⲢⲈ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲠⲀⲈⲨⲀⲄⲄⲈⲖⲒⲞⲚ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲠⲒϨⲒⲰⲒϢ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲞⲨϬⲰⲢⲠ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚⲦⲈⲞⲨⲘⲨⲤⲦⲎⲢⲒⲞⲚ ⲈⲀⲨⲬⲀⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲈϨⲀⲚⲤⲎ ⲞⲨ ⲚⲈⲚⲈϨ.

and they all with one consent began to make excuse. the first said unto him, i have bought a piece of ground, and i must needs go and see it: i pray thee have me excused.

and some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say unto him, prophesy: and the servants did strike him with the palms of their hands.

and he began to teach them, that the son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.
