if any man have an ear, let him hear.
ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲘⲀϢϪ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲈⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲘⲀⲢⲈϤⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ.

and every man went unto his own house.
ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨϢⲈ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲪⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲪⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲈⲠⲈϤⲘⲀ

for every man shall bear his own burden.
ⲠⲒⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲠⲒⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲈϤⲈⲦⲰⲞⲨⲚ ϦⲀ ⲦⲈϤⲈⲦⲪⲰ ⲘⲘⲒⲚ ⲘⲘⲞϤ.

and he said, a certain man had two sons:
ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲆⲈ ϪⲈ ⲚⲈⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲞⲨⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲈⲞⲨⲞⲚⲦⲈϤ ϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲂⲘⲘⲀⲨ.

therefore the son of man is lord also of the sabbath.
ϨⲰⲤⲦⲈ ⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲘⲠⲒⲤⲀⲂⲂⲀⲦⲞⲚ ⲠⲈ ⲠϢⲎ ⲢⲒ ⲘⲪⲢⲰⲘⲒ.

or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
ⲪⲎ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲠⲒⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲚⲀⲦⲎⲒϤ ⲚⲦϢⲈⲂⲒⲰ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲮⲨⲬⲎ.

who will render to every man according to his deeds:
ⲪⲎ ⲈⲐⲚⲀϮ ⲘⲠⲒⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲠⲒⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲚⲈϤϨⲂⲎⲞⲨⲒ.

and a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲈⲚϪⲀϪⲒ ⲘⲠⲒⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲚⲈⲚⲈϤⲢⲈⲘⲚⲎ Ⲓ.

sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many.
ⲔⲎⲚ ⲈⲪⲀⲒ ⲘⲠⲀⲒⲢⲎϮ ⲈⲦⲀⲒⲈⲠⲒⲦⲒⲘⲒⲀ ⲐⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲀⲤϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ.

and he said, that which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.
ⲚⲀϤϪⲰ ⲆⲈ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲠⲈⲐⲚⲎⲞⲨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲢⲰϤ ⲘⲠⲒⲢⲰⲒⲘⲒ ⲚⲐⲞϤ ⲈⲦⲤⲰϤ ⲘⲠⲒⲢⲰⲘⲒ.

when a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:
ⲈϢⲰⲠ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲀⲢⲈϢⲀⲚ ⲠⲒϪⲰⲢⲒ ϦⲞⲔϤ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲀⲢⲈϨ ⲈⲦⲈϤⲀⲨⲖⲎ ϢⲀⲢⲈ ⲚⲈϤϨⲨⲠⲀⲢⲬⲞⲚⲦⲀ ϢⲰⲠⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨϨⲒⲢⲎⲚⲎ.

and what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.
ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲤⲞⲐⲘⲈϤ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲈϤⲈⲢⲘⲈⲐⲢⲈ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲦⲈϤⲘⲈⲦⲘⲈⲐⲢⲈ ⲘⲘⲞⲚ ϨⲖⲒ ϬⲒ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ.

and the pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, this man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.
ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀⲨⲬⲢⲈⲘⲢⲈⲘ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲒⲪⲀⲢⲒⲤⲈⲞⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒⲤⲀϦ ⲈⲨϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲪⲀⲒ ϢⲰⲠ ⲚⲚⲒⲢⲈϤⲈⲢⲚⲞⲂⲒ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ϤⲞⲨⲰⲘ ⲚⲈⲘⲰⲞⲨ.

receive us; we have wronged no man, we have corrupted no man, we have defrauded no man.
ϢⲞⲠⲦⲈⲚ ⲈⲢⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲘⲠⲈⲚϬⲒ ϨⲖⲒ ⲚϪⲞⲚⲤ ⲘⲠⲈⲚⲦⲀⲔⲈ ϨⲖⲒ ⲘⲠⲈⲚϤⲈϪ ϨⲖⲒ.

verily, verily, i say unto you, if a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.
ⲀⲘⲎⲚ ⲀⲘⲎⲚ ϮϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϪⲈ ⲈϢⲰⲠ ⲀⲢⲈϢⲀⲚ ⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲀⲢⲈϨ ⲈⲠⲀⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲚⲚⲈϤⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲪⲘⲞⲨ ϢⲀ ⲈⲚⲈϨ.

wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
ⲦⲈⲚⲤⲰⲞⲨⲚ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲀⲤⲚⲎⲞⲨ ⲚⲀⲘⲈⲚⲢⲀϮ ⲘⲀⲢⲈϤϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲚϪⲈⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈϤⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲈϤⲚⲀⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲈϤϨⲞⲢϢ ⲈϤⲚⲀⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲈϤϨⲢⲞϢ ⲈϤⲚⲀϪⲰⲚⲦ

for what knowest thou, o wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, o man, whether thou shalt save thy wife?
