क्या जो शख़्श अपने परवरदिगार की तरफ से रौशन दलील पर हो उस शख़्श के बराबर हो सकता है जिसकी बदकारियाँ उसे भली कर दिखायीं गयीं हों वह अपनी नफ़सियानी ख्वाहिशों पर चलते हैं

nay , but the evildoers follow their own caprices , without knowledge ; so who shall guide those whom god has led astray ? they have no helpers .
मगर सरकशों ने तो बगैर समझे बूझे अपनी नफसियानी ख्वाहिशों की पैरवी कर ली ग़रज़ ख़ुदा जिसे गुमराही में छोड़ दे उसे कौन राहे रास्त पर ला सकता है और उनका कोई मददगार नहीं

even so we have sent it down as an arabic judgment . and if thou dost follow their caprices , after the knowledge that has come to thee , thou shalt have no protector against god , and no defender .
और यूँ हमने उस क़ुरान को अरबी का फरमान नाज़िल फरमाया और अगर कहीं तुमने इसके बाद को तुम्हारे पास इल्म आ चुका उन की नफसियानी ख्वाहिशों की पैरवी कर ली तो फिर ख़ुदा की तरफ से न कोई तुम्हारा सरपरस्त होगा न कोई बचाने वाला

then if they do not answer thee , know that they are only following their caprices ; and who is further astray than he who follows his caprice without guidance from god ? surely god guides not the people of the evildoers .
कि मै भी उस पर चलँ फिर अगर ये लोग न मानें तो समझ लो कि ये लोग बस अपनी हवा व हवस की पैरवी करते है और जो शख्स ख़ुदा की हिदायत को छोड़ कर अपनी हवा व हवस की पैरवी करते है उससे ज्यादा गुमराह कौन होगा बेशक ख़ुदा सरकश लोगों को मंज़िले मक़सूद तक नहीं पहुँचाया करता

' david , behold , we have appointed thee a viceroy in the earth ; therefore judge between men justly , and follow not caprice , lest it lead thee astray from the way of god . surely those who go astray from the way of god - - there awaits them a terrible chastisement , for that they have forgotten the day of reckoning . '
" ऐ दाऊद ! हमने धरती में तुझे ख़लीफ़ा बनाया है । अतः तू लोगों के बीच हक़ के साथ फ़ैसला करना और अपनी इच्छा का अनुपालन न करना कि वह तुझे अल्लाह के मार्ग से भटका दे । जो लोग अल्लाह के मार्ग से भटकते है , निश्चय ही उनके लिए कठोर यातना है , क्योंकि वे हिसाब के दिन को भूले रहे । -
