defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that satan tempt you not for your incontinency.
तुम एक दूसरे से अलग न रहो; परन्तु केवल कुछ समय तक आपस की सम्मति से कि प्रार्थना के लिये अवकाश मिले, और फिर एक साथ रहो, ऐसा न हो, कि तुम्हारे असंयम के कारण शैतान तुम्हें परखे।

see you not that the ships sail through the sea by allah ' s grace ? that he may show you of his signs ? verily , in this are signs for every patient , grateful .
क्या तूने इस पर भी ग़ौर नहीं किया कि ख़ुदा ही के फज़ल से कश्ती दरिया में बहती चलती रहती है ताकि तुम लोगों को अपनी बाज़ निशानियाँ दिखा दे बेशक उस में भी तमाम सब्र व शुक्र करने वाले के लिए बहुत सी निशानियाँ दिखा दे बेशक इसमें भी तमाम सब्र व शुक्र करने वाले के लिए बहुत सी निशानियाँ हैं

have you not heard about those who denied the truth before you and tasted the evil consequences of their conduct ? they will have a painful punishment .
क्या तुम्हें उनकी ख़बर नहीं पहुँची जिन्होंने पहले कुफ़्र किया तो उन्होने अपने काम की सज़ा का मज़ा चखा और उनके लिए दर्दनाक अज़ाब है

allah forbids you not , with regard to those who fight you not for faith nor drive you out of your homes , from dealing kindly and justly with them : for allah loveth those who are just .
अल्लाह तुम्हें इससे नहीं रोकता कि तुम उन लोगों के साथ अच्छा व्यवहार करो और उनके साथ न्याय करो , जिन्होंने तुमसे धर्म के मामले में युद्ध नहीं किया और न तुम्हें तुम्हारे अपने घरों से निकाला । निस्संदेह अल्लाह न्याय करनेवालों को पसन्द करता है

and when he had furnished them forth with provisions , he said : " bring me a brother of yours from your father ; . see you not that i give full measure , and that i am the best of the hosts ?
जब उसने उनके लिए उनका सामान तैयार करा दिया तो कहा , " बाप की ओर सो तुम्हारा भाई है , उसे मेरे पास लाना । क्या देखते नहीं कि मैं पूरी माप से देता हूँ और मैं अच्छा आतिशेय भी हूँ ? "

and why did you not , when you heard it , say , ‘it is not for us to say such a thing . you are immaculate ! this is a monstrous calumny ! ’
और जब तुमने ऐसी बात सुनी थी तो तुमने लोगों से क्यों न कह दिया कि हमको ऐसी बात मुँह से निकालनी मुनासिब नहीं सुबहान अल्लाह ये बड़ा भारी बोहतान है

they said : ' o shu ' ayb ! we do not understand much of what you say . indeed we see you weak in our midst . were it not for your kinsmen , we would surely have stoned you for you have no strength to overpower us .
उन्होंने कहा , " ऐ शुऐब ! तेरी बहुत - सी बातों को समझने में तो हम असमर्थ है । और हम तो तुझे देखते है कि तू हमारे मध्य अत्यन्त निर्बल है । यदि तेरे भाई - बन्धु न होते तो हम पत्थर मार - मारकर कभी का तुझे समाप्त कर चुके होते । तू इतने बल - बूतेवाला तो नहीं कि हमपर भारी हो । "
