उसने कहा कि मैं अपना जीवन व्यर्थ कर रहा हूँ

he said , ‘i did that when i was astray .
मूसा ने कहा मैने उस वक्त उस काम को किया जब मै हालते ग़फलत में था

he said , “ i did it then , when i was of those astray .
मूसा ने कहा मैने उस वक्त उस काम को किया जब मै हालते ग़फलत में था

he said : i did it then , when i was of those who are astray .
मूसा ने कहा मैने उस वक्त उस काम को किया जब मै हालते ग़फलत में था

he said : i did it then while i was of those unable to see the right course ;
मूसा ने कहा मैने उस वक्त उस काम को किया जब मै हालते ग़फलत में था

and he said, i heard thy voice in the garden, and i was afraid, because i was naked; and i hid myself.
उस ने कहा, मैं तेरा शब्द बारी में सुनकर डर गया क्योंकि मैं नंगा था; इसलिये छिप गया।

he said , " i was only given it because of knowledge i have . " did he not know that allah had destroyed before him of generations those who were greater than him in power and greater in accumulation ? but the criminals , about their sins , will not be asked .
उसने कहा , " मुझे तो यह मेरे अपने व्यक्तिगत ज्ञान के कारण मिला है । " क्या उसने यह नहीं जाना कि अल्लाह उससे पहले कितनी ही नस्लों को विनष्ट कर चुका है जो शक्ति में उससे बढ़ - चढ़कर और बाहुल्य में उससे अधिक थीं ? अपराधियों से तो उनके गुनाहों के विषय में पूछा भी नहीं जाता

आपने कुछ नहीं कहा

and when the prophet confided to one of his wives a statement ; and when she informed of it and allah showed it to him , he made known part of it and ignored a part . and when he informed her about it , she said , " who told you this ? " he said , " i was informed by the knowing , the acquainted . "
जब नबी ने अपनी पत्ऩियों में से किसी से एक गोपनीय बात कही , फिर जब उसने उसकी ख़बर कर दी और अल्लाह ने उसे उसपर ज़ाहिर कर दिया , तो उसने उसे किसी हद तक बता दिया और किसी हद तक टाल गया । फिर जब उसने उसकी उसे ख़बर की तो वह बोली , " आपको इसकी ख़बर किसने दी ? " उसने कहा , " मुझे उसने ख़बर दी जो सब कुछ जाननेवाला , ख़बर रखनेवाला है । "
