तो आद नाहक़ रूए ज़मीन में ग़ुरूर करने लगे और कहने लगे कि हम से बढ़ के क़ूवत में कौन है , क्या उन लोगों ने इतना भी ग़ौर न किया कि ख़ुदा जिसने उनको पैदा किया है वह उनसे क़ूवत में कहीं बढ़ के है , ग़रज़ वह लोग हमारी आयतों से इन्कार ही करते रहे

रहे आद, तो उन्होंने नाहक़ धरती में घमंड किया और कहा, "कौन हमसे शक्ति में बढ़कर है?" क्या उन्होंने नहीं देखा कि अल्लाह, जिसने उन्हें पैदा किया, वह उनसे शक्ति में बढ़कर है? वे तो हमारी आयतों का इनकार ही करते रहे

as for ' aad , they were arrogant upon the earth without right and said , " who is greater than us in strength ? " did they not consider that allah who created them was greater than them in strength ? but they were rejecting our signs .
तो आद नाहक़ रूए ज़मीन में ग़ुरूर करने लगे और कहने लगे कि हम से बढ़ के क़ूवत में कौन है , क्या उन लोगों ने इतना भी ग़ौर न किया कि ख़ुदा जिसने उनको पैदा किया है वह उनसे क़ूवत में कहीं बढ़ के है , ग़रज़ वह लोग हमारी आयतों से इन्कार ही करते रहे

to allah belongs the unseen of the heavens and the earth . the matter of the hour is just like the twinkling of an eye , or swifter . indeed allah has power over all things .
और सारे आसमान व ज़मीन की ग़ैब की बातें ख़ुदा ही के लिए मख़सूस हैं और ख़ुदा क़यामत का वाकेए होना तो ऐसा है जैसे पलक का झपकना बल्कि इससे भी जल्दी बेशक ख़ुदा हर चीज़ पर क़ुदरत कामेला रखता है

upon the day when the unbelievers are exposed to the fire : ' you dissipated your good things in your present life , and you took your enjoyment in them ; therefore today you shall be recompensed with the chastisement of humiliation for that you waxed proud in the earth without right , and for your ungodliness .
और जिस दिन कुफ्फार जहन्नुम के सामने लाएँ जाएँगे तुमने अपनी दुनिया की ज़िन्दगी में अपने मज़े उड़ा चुके और उसमें ख़ूब चैन कर चुके तो आज तुम पर ज़िल्लत का अज़ाब किया जाएगा इसलिए कि तुम अपनी ज़मीन में अकड़ा करते थे और इसलिए कि तुम बदकारियां करते थे

but when he saves them , at once they commit injustice upon the earth without right . o mankind , your injustice is only against yourselves , the enjoyment of worldly life . then to us is your return , and we will inform you of what you used to do .
फिर जब ख़ुदा ने उन्हें नजात दी तो वह लोग ज़मीन पर फौरन नाहक़ सरकशी करने लगते हैं तो तुम्हारी ही जान पर है - दुनिया की ज़िन्दगी का फायदा है फिर आख़िर हमारी तरफ तुमको लौटकर आना है तो हम तुमको जो कुछ करते थे बता देगे

as for the tribe of ' aad - they grew stiff - necked on the earth without justification , and said : who is mightier than we in strength ? saw they not that allah who created them , - he was mightier than they in strength ? and our signs they were wont to gainsay .
तो आद नाहक़ रूए ज़मीन में ग़ुरूर करने लगे और कहने लगे कि हम से बढ़ के क़ूवत में कौन है , क्या उन लोगों ने इतना भी ग़ौर न किया कि ख़ुदा जिसने उनको पैदा किया है वह उनसे क़ूवत में कहीं बढ़ के है , ग़रज़ वह लोग हमारी आयतों से इन्कार ही करते रहे

and on the day when the unbelievers will be exposed to the fire , they will be told : “ you have exhausted your share of the bounties in the life of the world , and you took your fill of enjoyments . so , degrading chastisement shall be yours on this day for you waxed arrogant in the earth without justification and acted iniquitously . ”
और याद करो जिस दिन वे लोग जिन्होंने इनकार किया , आग के सामने पेश किए जाएँगे । , " तुम अपने सांसारिक जीवन में अच्छी रुचिकर चीज़े नष्ट कर बैठे और उनका मज़ा ले चुके । अतः आज तुम्हे अपमानजनक यातना दी जाएगी , क्योंकि तुम धरती में बिना किसी हक़ के घमंड करते रहे और इसलिए कि तुम आज्ञा का उल्लंघन करते रहे । "
