信者の女たちに言ってやるがいい。かの女らの視線を低くし,貞淑を守れ。外に表われるものの外は,かの女らの美(や飾り)を目立たせてはならない。それからヴェイルをその胸の上に垂れなさい。自分の夫または父の外は,かの女の美(や飾り)を表わしてはならない。なお夫の父,自分の息子,夫の息子,また自分の兄弟,兄弟の息子,姉妹の息子または自分の女たち,自分の右手に持つ奴隷,また性欲を持たない供回りの男,または女の体に意識をもたない幼児(の外は)。またかの女らの隠れた飾りを知らせるため,その足(で地)を打ってはならない。あなたがた信者よ,皆一緒に悔悟してアッラーに返れ。必ずあなたがたは成功するであろう。
