and by allah i shall surely devise a plot against your idols after ye turned away backward.
ئینجا ئیبراهیم له‌به‌ر خۆیه‌وه سوێندی خوارد و وتی: به‌خوا نه‌خشه‌یه‌ک ده‌کێشم و داوێک ده‌نێمه‌وه بۆ بته‌کانتان دوای ئه‌وه‌ی ئێوه به‌جێتان هێشتن و پشتتان هه‌ڵکرد.

and on that day they will offer total submission to god: and all that they used to devise will fail them.
ئه‌و ڕۆژه هه‌موویان خۆیان ته‌سلیمی خوا کرد به ملکه‌چی و زه‌لیلی، هه‌رچیش هه‌ڵیانده‌به‌ست و ئومێدیان پێی بوو لێیان بزر بوو (ئیتر بۆ هه‌میشه هه‌ناسه ساردو ڕیسوان).

by the lord, i will devise a plan against your deities after you have gone away and turned your backs!"
ئینجا ئیبراهیم له‌به‌ر خۆیه‌وه سوێندی خوارد و وتی: به‌خوا نه‌خشه‌یه‌ک ده‌کێشم و داوێک ده‌نێمه‌وه بۆ بته‌کانتان دوای ئه‌وه‌ی ئێوه به‌جێتان هێشتن و پشتتان هه‌ڵکرد.

except for the oppressed among men, women and children who cannot devise a plan nor are they directed to a way -
مه‌گه‌ر ئه‌وانه‌یان که به‌ڕاستی بێ ده‌سه‌ڵات و ناته‌وان و لاوازکراون له‌و پیاوانه‌ی ژن و منداڵیان له‌گه‌ڵدایه‌و ناتوانن ته‌گبیرو گۆڕانکاریه‌ک بۆ خۆیان بکه‌ن و هیچ ڕێگه‌یه‌کیش شاره‌زانین بۆ چاره‌سه‌رو ده‌ربازکردنی خۆیان.

"so devise your plot, and then assemble in line. and whoever overcomes this day will be indeed successful."
جا هه‌رچی تواناو ده‌سه‌ڵات و جادوویه‌کتان هه‌یه بیخه‌نه‌کارو یه‌ک پارچه و یه‌ک ده‌ست، ده‌ستبه‌کار بن، بێگومان ئه‌وه‌ی ئه‌مڕۆ ده‌یباته‌وه سه‌رفرازو سه‌رکه‌توو به‌هره‌مه‌نده‌!!

abraham said to himself, "by god! i will devise a plan against their idols when they are away."
ئینجا ئیبراهیم له‌به‌ر خۆیه‌وه سوێندی خوارد و وتی: به‌خوا نه‌خشه‌یه‌ک ده‌کێشم و داوێک ده‌نێمه‌وه بۆ بته‌کانتان دوای ئه‌وه‌ی ئێوه به‌جێتان هێشتن و پشتتان هه‌ڵکرد.

do then those who devise evil plots feel secure that allah will not sink them into the earth, or that the torment will not seize them from directions they perceive not?
جا ئایا ئه‌وانه‌ی که چه‌نده‌ها پیلان و نه‌خشه‌ی خراپیان کێشاوه دڵنیان له‌وه‌ی که خوا نایانبات به ناخی زه‌ویدا، یاخود له لایه‌که‌وه سزاو تۆڵه‌یان بۆ بێت که هه‌ر هه‌ستی پێنه‌که‌ن؟!...

and even so we appointed in every city great ones among its sinners, to devise there; but they devised only against themselves, and they were not aware.
ئا به‌و شێوه‌یه‌، له‌ناو هه‌موو شارو شارۆچکه‌یه‌کدا گه‌وره‌ترینی تاوانباریانمان باڵاده‌ست کردوه تا پیلان و ته‌ڵه‌که بگێڕن تیایدا، (بێ ئه‌وه‌ی بزانن) که‌: هیچ فێڵ و ته‌ڵه‌که‌یه‌کیش ناکه‌ن به‌زیانی خۆیان ته‌واو نه‌بێت، له‌کاتێکدا هه‌ست به‌وه ناکه‌ن، پیلان دژی خۆیان ده‌گێڕن و به‌سه‌ر خۆیاندا ده‌شکێته‌وه (به‌ڵام) هه‌ستی پێناکه‌ن (چونکه غافڵ و بێ ئاگان که به‌ره‌و لێواری مه‌رگ هه‌نگاو هه‌ڵده‌گرن و له سزای په‌روه‌ردگار ده‌رباز نابن).

those before them did indeed devise plans, but allah demolished their building from the foundations, so the roof fell down on them from above them, and the punishment came to them from whence they did not perceive.
بێگومان پێش ئه‌مانیش (خوا نه‌ناسانی) پێشوو پیلانیان گێڕا (دژ به ئایینی خوا)، ئینجا خوای به‌ده‌سه‌ڵاتیش کۆشك و ته‌لارو نه‌خشه‌یانی له بن و بێخ ده‌رهێنا، سه‌قفه‌که‌شی له سه‌ره‌وه داڕمان به‌سه‌ریانداو له شوێنێکه‌وه به‌ڵاو سزا یه‌خه‌ی پێگرتن که هه‌ستیان پێ نه‌ده‌کردو به‌ته‌مای نه‌بوون (ئه‌ڵبه‌ته ئه‌م هه‌ڕه‌شه‌یه پیلانگێڕانی هه‌موو سه‌رده‌مێك ده‌گرێته‌وه‌).

do they feel secure, those who devise evil things, that god will not cause the earth to swallow them, or that the chastisement will not come upon them, from whence they are not aware?
جا ئایا ئه‌وانه‌ی که چه‌نده‌ها پیلان و نه‌خشه‌ی خراپیان کێشاوه دڵنیان له‌وه‌ی که خوا نایانبات به ناخی زه‌ویدا، یاخود له لایه‌که‌وه سزاو تۆڵه‌یان بۆ بێت که هه‌ر هه‌ستی پێنه‌که‌ن؟!...

allah forgiveth not that partners should be set up with him; but he forgiveth anything else, to whom he pleaseth; to set up partners with allah is to devise a sin most heinous indeed.
به‌ڕاستی خوا خۆش نابێت ئه‌گه‌ر هاوه‌ڵی بۆ بڕیار بدرێت، بێجگه له‌وه له هه‌ر گوناهێکی تر بیه‌وێت خۆش ده‌بێت، بۆ ئه‌و که‌سه‌ی که ده‌یه‌وێت، جا ئه‌وه‌ی هاوه‌ڵ و شه‌ریک بۆ خوا بڕیار بدات، ئه‌وه ئیتر به‌ڕاستی تاوانێکی گه‌وره‌ی هه‌ڵبه‌ستووه‌.

do then those who devise evil (plots) feel secure that allah will not cause the earth to swallow them up, or that the wrath will not seize them from directions they little perceive?-
جا ئایا ئه‌وانه‌ی که چه‌نده‌ها پیلان و نه‌خشه‌ی خراپیان کێشاوه دڵنیان له‌وه‌ی که خوا نایانبات به ناخی زه‌ویدا، یاخود له لایه‌که‌وه سزاو تۆڵه‌یان بۆ بێت که هه‌ر هه‌ستی پێنه‌که‌ن؟!...

and recite to them the news of nuh (noah). when he said to his people: "o my people, if my stay (with you), and my reminding (you) of the ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of allah is hard on you, then i put my trust in allah. so devise your plot, you and your partners, and let not your plot be in doubt for you. then pass your sentence on me and give me no respite.
(ئه‌ی پێغه‌مبه‌ر صلی الله علیه وسلم) به‌سه‌رهات و هه‌واڵی نوح به‌سه‌ر ئه‌و خه‌ڵکه‌دا بخوێنه‌ره‌وه‌، کاتێک به قه‌ومه‌که‌ی خۆی وت: ئه‌ی قه‌وم و که‌سم، ئه‌گه‌ر ئێوه سه‌غڵه‌تن، به‌مانه‌وه‌ی من له‌ناوتاندا و یادخستنه‌وه‌ی ئایه‌ته‌کانی خواتان لاکرانه ئه‌وه دڵنیابن که من کۆڵ ناده‌م، پشتم به خوا به‌ستووه له‌و کاره‌مدا، (ئیتر ئێوه چیتان له‌ده‌ست دێت درێغی مه‌که‌ن) خۆتان و بته‌کانتان و هاوبیرو باوه‌ڕه‌کانتان بکه‌ونه خۆو ڕای خۆتان کۆبکه‌نه‌وه‌، پاشان به‌ئاشکرا چی ده‌که‌ن بیکه‌ن، هه‌رچیان له ده‌ست دێت دژ به من ئه‌نجامی بده‌ن (منه‌تتان نه‌بێت)، مۆڵه‌تم مه‌ده‌ن.
