ފަހެ، އެހިނދު މަހެއް (އައިސް) އެކަލޭގެފާނު (އޮތްގޮތަށް) ދިރުވައިލިއެވެ. (އެއީ) އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް މަލާމާތް ލިބިވަޑައިގެންވާ حال ގައެވެ.

so they will acknowledge their sins. so away with the inmates of the blaze.
ފަހެ، އެއުރެން، އެއުރެންގެ ފާފަތަކަށް اعتراف ވާނެތެވެ. ފަހެ، ނަރަކައިގެ أهل ވެރިންނަށް رحمة ން ދުރުކުރެއްވުން ހުށްޓެވެ.

we could make it brackish, if we pleased; so why do you not acknowledge thanks?
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާނަމަ، އެ ފެން ބޯން ނުކެރޭފަދަ ލޮނު ފެނެއް ކަމުގައި ލައްވައިފީމުހެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން شكر ނުކުރަނީ ކީއްވެހެއްޔެވެ؟

and it is he who has created ears and eyes and hearts for you; very little is the right you acknowledge.
އެކަލާނގެއީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށްޓަކައި، އިވުމާއި، ފެނުމާއި، ހިތްތައް އުފެއްދެވި ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުން شكر ކުރަނީ، ވަރަށްވެސް މަދުންނެވެ.

so they acknowledge their sins; but far removed (from mercy) are the dwellers in the flames.

so they shall acknowledge their sins, but far will be (forgiveness) from the inmates of the burning fire.
ފަހެ، އެއުރެން، އެއުރެންގެ ފާފަތަކަށް اعتراف ވާނެތެވެ. ފަހެ، ނަރަކައިގެ أهل ވެރިންނަށް رحمة ން ދުރުކުރެއްވުން ހުށްޓެވެ.

so that they may eat of its fruit; yet it was not done by their hands. then why do they not acknowledge thanks?
(އެއީ) އެތާނގެ މޭވާއިންނާއި، އެއުރެންގެ އަތްތަކުން މަސައްކަތްކޮށްގެން ހޯދިތަކެތިން އެއުރެން ކައިއުޅުމަށްޓަކައެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެން شكر ނުކުރަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟

and what will allah gain by punishing you, if you acknowledge the truth and accept faith? and allah is most appreciative, all knowing.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުން شكر ކޮށް، إيمان ވީނަމަ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް عذاب ދެއްވުމުން اللَّه ކުރައްވާނީ ކޮންކަމެއްހެއްޔެވެ؟ (އެބަހީ: އެފަދަ މީހުންނަށް اللَّه عذاب ނުދެއްވާނެކަން ކަނޑައެޅުއްވުމެވެ.) شكر قبول ކުރައްވާ، މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ކަލަކުކަމުގައި اللَّه ވޮޑިގެންވެއެވެ.

but the quran is a revelation that is clear to the hearts of those endowed with knowledge. only the evil-doers refuse to acknowledge our revelations.
އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! އެއީ علم ލިބިގެންވާ މީހުންގެ ހިތްތަކުގައި بيان ވެގެންވާ آية ތަކެކެވެ. އަނިޔާވެރިން ނޫނީ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތަކާ ދެކޮޅެއް ނަހަދާނެތެވެ.

ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެން إيمان ވުމަށްފަހު، كافر ވެ، ދެން كافر ކަން އިތުރުވީ މީހުންގެ توبة قبول ނުކުރައްވާހުށްޓެވެ. އަދި، އެއުރެންނަކީ ހަމަ މަގުފުރެދިފައިވާ މީހުންނެވެ.

އަދި އެކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވި ވިދާޅުވުން، އެކަލާނގެ ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވެތެވެ. އަޅުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާކޮ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، މިބައިމީހުންނީ إيمان ނުވާނެ ބަޔެކެވެ.
