does man not see that we created him of a sperm drop, and lo! he is flagrantly contentious?
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، މަނިތިއްކަކުން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އިންސާނާ ހެއްދެވިކަން، އެ އިންސާނާއަށް ނޭނގެނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ފަހެ، އެހާރުން އޭނާވަނީ ފާޅުވެ ބަޔާންވެގެންވާ ދެކޮޅުވެރިޔަކު ކަމުގައެވެ.

and verily we have displayed for mankind in this qur'an all manner of similitudes, but man is more than anything contentious.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ މި قرآن ގައި ހުރިހާ ބާވަތަކުންވެސް މީސްތަކުންނަށް مثال ބަޔާންކުރެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި جدل ކުރުންގިނަ މީހަކުކަމުގައި އިންސާނާ ވިއެވެ.

we have explained in various ways in this quran, for the benefit of mankind, all kinds of examples, but man is most contentious.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ މި قرآن ގައި ހުރިހާ ބާވަތަކުންވެސް މީސްތަކުންނަށް مثال ބަޔާންކުރެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި جدل ކުރުންގިނަ މީހަކުކަމުގައި އިންސާނާ ވިއެވެ.

he created man out of a [mere] drop of sperm: yet he shows himself to be openly contentious!
މަނިތިއްކަކުން އެކަލާނގެ އިންސާނާ ހެއްދެވިއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެހާރުން އޭނާވަނީ، ފާޅުވެ، ބަޔާންވެގެންވާ ދެކޮޅުވެރިޔަކު ކަމުގައެވެ.

and surely we have explained matters to people in the qur'an in diverse ways, using all manner of parables. but man is exceedingly contentious.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ މި قرآن ގައި ހުރިހާ ބާވަތަކުންވެސް މީސްތަކުންނަށް مثال ބަޔާންކުރެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި جدل ކުރުންގިނަ މީހަކުކަމުގައި އިންސާނާ ވިއެވެ.

so we have made it easy in thine tongue in order that thou mayest thereby give glad tidings unto the godfearing and warn thereby a people contentious. *chapter: 19
ފަހެ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ، ކަލޭގެފާނު ވާހަކަދައްކަވާ ބަހުން އެ قرآن ފަސޭހަކޮށްދެއްވީ، ކަލޭގެފާނު އެ ފޮތުން تقوى ވެރިންނަށް އުފާވެރިކަމުގެ خبر ދެއްވުމަށާއި، ދެކޮޅުވެރިވެގެންވާ މީހުންނަށް އެއިން إنذار ކުރެއްވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

and of mankind is he whose discourse for the purpose of this world thou admirest, and he taketh allah to witness as to that which is in his heart, whereas he is the most contentious of the adversaries.
دنيوى حياة އާމެދު އެމީހަކު ބުނާ ބަހުން ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ހިތްޕުޅު ރުއްސާލައި، އަދި އޭނާގެ ހިތުގައިވާ ގޮތުގެ މައްޗަށް اللَّه ހެކިކޮށް ބުނާ މީހުން މީސްތަކުންގެ ތެރެއިން ވެއެވެ. އެހިނދު އެމީހާ ވަނީ، ދެކޮޅުވެރިކަން އެންމެ ބޮޑު މީހާ ކަމުގައެވެ.

so we have made this (qur'an) easy in your tongue that you may give good news to those who take heed, and warn the people who are contentious.
ފަހެ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ، ކަލޭގެފާނު ވާހަކަދައްކަވާ ބަހުން އެ قرآن ފަސޭހަކޮށްދެއްވީ، ކަލޭގެފާނު އެ ފޮތުން تقوى ވެރިންނަށް އުފާވެރިކަމުގެ خبر ދެއްވުމަށާއި، ދެކޮޅުވެރިވެގެންވާ މީހުންނަށް އެއިން إنذار ކުރެއްވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

and they say, "are our gods best, or he?" this they set forth to thee, only by way of disputation: yea, they are a contentious people.
އަދި އެއުރެން ބުނޫއެވެ. ރަނގަޅީ، ތިމަންމެންގެ إله ންތައް ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ނުވަތަ އެކަލޭގެފާނު ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ކަލޭގެފާނާ جدل ކުރުމަށް މެނުވީ އެއުރެން އެ مثال ނުޖަހަތެވެ. އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! އެއުރެންނީ ހަމަދެކޮޅުވެރިކަން ބޮޑު ބަޔެކެވެ.

and say: 'what are our gods better, or is he' they do not mention him to you except to dispute, truly, they are a contentious nation.
އަދި އެއުރެން ބުނޫއެވެ. ރަނގަޅީ، ތިމަންމެންގެ إله ންތައް ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ނުވަތަ އެކަލޭގެފާނު ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ކަލޭގެފާނާ جدل ކުރުމަށް މެނުވީ އެއުރެން އެ مثال ނުޖަހަތެވެ. އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! އެއުރެންނީ ހަމަދެކޮޅުވެރިކަން ބޮޑު ބަޔެކެވެ.

and say, 'what, are our gods better, or he?' they cite not him to thee, save to dispute;. nay, but they are a people contentious.
އަދި އެއުރެން ބުނޫއެވެ. ރަނގަޅީ، ތިމަންމެންގެ إله ންތައް ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ނުވަތަ އެކަލޭގެފާނު ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ކަލޭގެފާނާ جدل ކުރުމަށް މެނުވީ އެއުރެން އެ مثال ނުޖަހަތެވެ. އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! އެއުރެންނީ ހަމަދެކޮޅުވެރިކަން ބޮޑު ބަޔެކެވެ.
