ހަމަހިލާ އެހެންނަކުން ނުވާނެއެވެ. އެ އިންސާނާ އަދިވެސް، އެކަލާނގެ އޭނާޔަށް އަމުރުކުރެއްވި ކަންތަކެއް ނުކުރެތެވެ.

nay, but man did not fulfil what allah had enjoined upon him.
ހަމަހިލާ އެހެންނަކުން ނުވާނެއެވެ. އެ އިންސާނާ އަދިވެސް، އެކަލާނގެ އޭނާޔަށް އަމުރުކުރެއްވި ކަންތަކެއް ނުކުރެތެވެ.

so declare to them what we have enjoined, and turn away from idolaters.
ފަހެ، ކަލޭގެފާނަށް أمر ކުރައްވާގޮތަށް، ފާޅުގައި دين އަށް ގޮވައިލައްވާށެވެ! އަދި شريك ކުރާ މީހުންނާ އެއްކިބާވެ ވަޑައިގަންނަވާށެވެ!

he enjoined on his household worship and zakat, and he was obedient to his lord.
އަދި އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ أهل ވެރިންނަށް، ނަމާދު ކުރުމަށާއި، زكاة ދީ އުޅުމަށް، އެކަލޭގެފާނު أمر ކުރައްވާ ކަމުގައިވިއެވެ. އަދި އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ގައި، ރުއްސުންލައްވާފައިވާ ބޭކަލަކު ކަމުގައި އެކަލޭގެފާނުވިއެވެ.

he enjoined upon his people worship and almsgiving, and was acceptable in the sight of his lord.
އަދި އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ أهل ވެރިންނަށް، ނަމާދު ކުރުމަށާއި، زكاة ދީ އުޅުމަށް، އެކަލޭގެފާނު أمر ކުރައްވާ ކަމުގައިވިއެވެ. އަދި އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ގައި، ރުއްސުންލައްވާފައިވާ ބޭކަލަކު ކަމުގައި އެކަލޭގެފާނުވިއެވެ.

and blessed me wherever i may be, and enjoined on me worship and zakat for as long as i live,
އަދި މިއަޅާ ކޮންމެ ތަނެއްގައި ވީނަމަވެސް، بركات ލައްވާފައިވާ އަޅަކު ކަމުގައި މިއަޅާ ލެއްވިއެވެ. އަދި މިއަޅާ ދިރިހުރިހާ ހިނދަކު، ނަމާދުކުރުމަށާއި، زكاة ދިނުމަށް، އެކަލާނގެ މިއަޅާޔަށް وصية ކުރެއްވިއެވެ.

certainly we had enjoined adam earlier; but he forgot, and we did not find any resoluteness in him.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، މީގެކުރިން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آدم ގެފާނަށް وصيّة ކުރައްވައި، عهد ހިއްޕެވީމެވެ. ފަހެ، އެކަލޭގެފާނު (އެ عهد) ހަނދުމަނެތުނެވެ. އަދި އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ކިބައިން އެއްވެސް عزم އަކާއި، ثابت ކަމެއް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ދެކެވޮޑިއެއް ނުގަންނަވަމެވެ.

and hath made me blessed wheresoever i may be, and hath enjoined upon me prayer and almsgiving so long as i remain alive,
އަދި މިއަޅާ ކޮންމެ ތަނެއްގައި ވީނަމަވެސް، بركات ލައްވާފައިވާ އަޅަކު ކަމުގައި މިއަޅާ ލެއްވިއެވެ. އަދި މިއަޅާ ދިރިހުރިހާ ހިނދަކު، ނަމާދުކުރުމަށާއި، زكاة ދިނުމަށް، އެކަލާނގެ މިއަޅާޔަށް وصية ކުރެއްވިއެވެ.

and has made me blessed wherever i may be; and has enjoined on me prayer and charity, so long as i live.
އަދި މިއަޅާ ކޮންމެ ތަނެއްގައި ވީނަމަވެސް، بركات ލައްވާފައިވާ އަޅަކު ކަމުގައި މިއަޅާ ލެއްވިއެވެ. އަދި މިއަޅާ ދިރިހުރިހާ ހިނދަކު، ނަމާދުކުރުމަށާއި، زكاة ދިނުމަށް، އެކަލާނގެ މިއަޅާޔަށް وصية ކުރެއްވިއެވެ.

އަދި މިއަޅާ ކޮންމެ ތަނެއްގައި ވީނަމަވެސް، بركات ލައްވާފައިވާ އަޅަކު ކަމުގައި މިއަޅާ ލެއްވިއެވެ. އަދި މިއަޅާ ދިރިހުރިހާ ހިނދަކު، ނަމާދުކުރުމަށާއި، زكاة ދިނުމަށް، އެކަލާނގެ މިއަޅާޔަށް وصية ކުރެއްވިއެވެ.

and do not follow the other paths, lest they divert you from his path. all this he has enjoined upon you, that you may refrain from wrongdoing.
އަދި މިއީ ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ސީދާވެގެންވާ ތެދުމަގެވެ. ފަހެ، އެ މަގަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން تبع ވާށެވެ! (އެނޫން) މަގުމަގަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން تبع ނުވާށެވެ! (އޭރުން) އެކަލާނގެ މަގުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ވަކިވަކިވެގެން ހިނގައިދާނެތެވެ. މިކަންތައްތަކަށް، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެކަލާނގެ وصية ކުރެއްވީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން تقوى ވެރިވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

(here is) a surah which we have revealed and enjoined, and wherein we have revealed plain tokens, that haply ye may take heed.
(މިއީ) سورة އެކެވެ. ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ، އެ سورة ބާވައިލެއްވީ އަދި އެ سورة ގައިވާ ކަންތައްތައް ކަނޑައަޅުއްވައި فرض ކުރެއްވީ، އަދި ފާޅުވެ بيان ވެގެންވާ ހެކިތައް، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެ سورة ގައި ބާވައިލެއްވީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހަނދުމަކުރުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

but they too have forgotten much of what they were enjoined. so, we have put enmity and hatred between them till the day of judgement; and soon god will declare to them what they have been doing.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންމެންނީ نصارى އިންނޭ ބުނިމީހުންގެ ކިބައިންވެސް އެއުރެންގެ ކަށަވަރުވެގެންވާ عهد ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ހިއްޕެވީމެވެ. ދެން އެއުރެންނަށް ހަނދާންކޮށްދެއްވި ކަންތަކުގެ ތެރެއިން އެއުރެން ހަނދާންނައްތާލިއެވެ. ފަހެ، قيامة ދުވަހަށް ދާނދެން އެއުރެންގެ މެދުގައި، عدواة ތެރިކަމާއި، ރުޅިވެރިކަން ލެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި ނިކަންހުރެ އެއުރެން ކޮށްއުޅުނު عمل ތަކުގެ ވާހަކައިން اللَّه އެއުރެންނަށް خبر އަންގަވާނެއެވެ.

(those who obtain guidance to his light are found) in the houses which he has enjoined to raise up and to mention his name therein. in them such people glorify him morning and evening
އެތަންތާނގައި، އެކަލާނގެ ނަންފުޅު ހަނދުމަކުރުމަށާއި، އެތަންތަން މަތިވެރިކޮށް އުފުލުމަށް، اللَّه إذن ދެއްވާފައިވާ ގެތަކެއްގައެވެ. (އެބަހީ: މިސްކިތްތަކެއްގައެވެ.) ހެނދުނާއި ހަވީރު، އެތާނގައި އެކަލާނގެއަށް تسبيح ކިޔައި އުޅެތެވެ.

and when they do some lewdness they say: we found our fathers doing it and allah hath enjoined it on us. say: allah, verily, enjoineth not lewdness.
އެއުރެން فاحش ކަމެއް ކޮށްފިނަމަ، ބުނެތެވެ. ތިމަންމެންގެ ކާބަފައިންވެސް އެކަން ކުރުންމަތީވަނިކޮށް ތިމަންމެން ދުށީމުއެވެ. އަދި އެކަމަށް اللَّه ވަނީ، ތިމަންމެންނަށް أمر ކުރައްވާފައެވެ. ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! فاحش ކަމަކަށް ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه أمر އެއް ނުކުރައްވަތެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެނގިގެންނުވާ އެއްޗެއް اللَّه އާމެދު ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ބުނަނީހެއްޔެވެ؟

"and he has made me blessed wheresoever i be, and has enjoined on me salat (prayer), and zakat, as long as i live."
އަދި މިއަޅާ ކޮންމެ ތަނެއްގައި ވީނަމަވެސް، بركات ލައްވާފައިވާ އަޅަކު ކަމުގައި މިއަޅާ ލެއްވިއެވެ. އަދި މިއަޅާ ދިރިހުރިހާ ހިނދަކު، ނަމާދުކުރުމަށާއި، زكاة ދިނުމަށް، އެކަލާނގެ މިއަޅާޔަށް وصية ކުރެއްވިއެވެ.

(this is) a surah (chapter of the quran) which we have sent down and which we have enjoined, (ordained its legal laws) and in it we have revealed manifest ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations lawful and unlawful things, and set boundries of islamic religion), that you may remember.
(މިއީ) سورة އެކެވެ. ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ، އެ سورة ބާވައިލެއްވީ އަދި އެ سورة ގައިވާ ކަންތައްތައް ކަނޑައަޅުއްވައި فرض ކުރެއްވީ، އަދި ފާޅުވެ بيان ވެގެންވާ ހެކިތައް، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެ سورة ގައި ބާވައިލެއްވީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހަނދުމަކުރުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.
