ފަހެ، ކަލޭގެފާނަށް އެނގިވަޑައިގަންނަވާތޯއެވެ؟ ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެން އެތައް އަހަރަކަށް އަރާމުކޮށް އުޅުމަށް ލެހެއްޓެވިކަމުގައިވިޔަސް، ދެން އެއުރެންނަށް وعد ކުރައްވާފައިވާ عذاب އެއުރެންގެ ގާތަށް އައުމުން، އެއުރެން ދުނިޔޭގައި އަރާމުކޮށް އުޅުމަށް ލެހެއްޓެވުމަކުން އެއުރެންނަށް އެއްވެސްކަމެއް ފުއްދައެއް ނުދޭނެތެވެ.

and they believed, so we gave them enjoyment [of life] for a time.
ފަހެ، އެއުރެން (އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް) إيمان ވޫއެވެ. ދެން އެއުރެންގެ أجل ޖެހިއްޖައުމަށް ދާނދެން އެއުރެން އަރާމުގައި އުޅުމަށް ލެހެއްޓެވީމެވެ.

(އެއީ) ކުޑަކުޑަ ވަގުތީ އަރާމެކެވެ. ދެން، އެއުރެން ތިބެނިވި ތަނަކީ ނަރަކައެވެ. އަދި، އެ ތަންމަތީގެ ހުރި ނުބައިކަމާއެވެ!

[it is but] a brief enjoyment, and they will have a painful punishment.
(އެއީ) ކުޑަކުޑަ ވަގުތީ އަރާމެކެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންނަށް ވޭންދެނިވި عذاب ހުށްޓެވެ.

(these are made so as to be) means of enjoyment for you and your cattle.
(އެއީ) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށާއި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ نعم ސޫފިތަކަށް ދިރިއުޅުމުގެ ވަގުތީ އުފަލެއްގެ ގޮތުގައެވެ.

"will ye be left secure, in (the enjoyment of) all that ye have here?-
މި ދުނިޔެމަތީގައިވާ نعمة ތަކުގައި، أمان ކަން ލިބިގެން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އުޅުމަށް ދޫކޮށްލައްވާނެ ހެއްޔެވެ؟

a brief enjoyment! then their abode is hell, and evil is the resting-place.
(އެއީ) ކުޑަކުޑަ ވަގުތީ އަރާމެކެވެ. ދެން، އެއުރެން ތިބެނިވި ތަނަކީ ނަރަކައެވެ. އަދި، އެ ތަންމަތީގެ ހުރި ނުބައިކަމާއެވެ!

(such an invention) will bring only a little enjoyment but will be followed by painful torment.
(އެއީ) ކުޑަކުޑަ ވަގުތީ އަރާމެކެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންނަށް ވޭންދެނިވި عذاب ހުށްޓެވެ.

give women their dowries graciously. but if they willingly forego some of it, then consume it with enjoyment and pleasure.
އަންހެނުންނަށް އެކަނބަލުންގެ ރަން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހިތުންރުހުމުންދޭ ދިނުމެއްގެ ގޮތުގައި ދޭށެވެ! އޭގެތެރެއިން އެއްޗެއް އެކަނބަލުން ހިތުންރުހުމުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އަނބުރާ ދީފިނަމަ، حلال ރަނގަޅު އެއްޗެއްގެ ގޮތުގައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އޭގެ ބޭނުންކުރާށެވެ!

a brief enjoyment; then, their ultimate abode is hell; and worst indeed is that place for rest.
(އެއީ) ކުޑަކުޑަ ވަގުތީ އަރާމެކެވެ. ދެން، އެއުރެން ތިބެނިވި ތަނަކީ ނަރަކައެވެ. އަދި، އެ ތަންމަތީގެ ހުރި ނުބައިކަމާއެވެ!

[their share of the present life is] a trifling enjoyment, and there will be a painful punishment for them.
(އެއީ) ކުޑަކުޑަ ވަގުތީ އަރާމެކެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންނަށް ވޭންދެނިވި عذاب ހުށްޓެވެ.
