އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކަހަލަ آدم ގެދަރިޔަކަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކިޔަމަންތެރިވެއްޖެނަމަ، އެހިނދު ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނީ، ގެއްލެނިވެގެންވާ ބަޔެއްކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

then moses cast his staff and lo, it forthwith swallowed up their lying invention;
ދެން موسى ގެފާނު އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަސާކޮޅު އެއްލެވިއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެހާރުން އެ އަސާކޮޅު އެއުރެން ދޮގުން ހަދައިގެން ދެއްކި ތަކެތި ކައި ދިރުވައިފިއެވެ.

and we revealed to moses: 'cast thy staff!' and lo, it forthwith swallowed up their lying invention.
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ موسى ގެފާނަށް وحى ކުރެއްވީމެވެ. ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަސާކޮޅު އެއްލަވާށެވެ! ދެން (އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަސާކޮޅު އެއްލެވީމާ) އެހާރުން އެ އަސާކޮޅު އެއުރެން ދޮގުން ހަދައިގެން ދެއްކި ތަކެތި ކައި ދިރުވައިފިއެވެ.

forthwith zakariyya prayed unto his lord my lord bestow on me from thine presence a goodly offspring; verily thou! thou art the hearer of prayer.
އެތާނގައި، زكريّا ގެފާނު އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށް دعاء ކުރައްވައި ދެންނެވިއެވެ. އަޅުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާކޯއެވެ! އިބަރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ން، ހެޔޮލަފާ ރަނގަޅު ދަރިފަސްކޮޅެއް މިއަޅާއަށް ދެއްވާނދޭވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އިބަރަސްކަލާނގެއީ، ގިނަގިނައިން دعاء އައްސަވާވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

and invoke not beside allah that which can neither profit thee nor hurt thee; then if thou dost so, thou art forthwith of the wrong- doers.
އަދި اللَّه ފިޔަވައި ކަލޭގެފާނަށް މަންފާއެއް ނުދެވޭ، އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނަށް ގެއްލުމެއްވެސް ނުދެވޭ ތަކެއްޗަށް، ކަލޭގެފާނު އަޅުކަން ނުކުރައްވާށެވެ! ފަހެ، ކަލޭގެފާނު އެކަންކުރައްވައިފިނަމަ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އޭރުން ކަލޭގެފާނު ވާނީ އަނިޔާވެރިވި މީހުންގެ ތެރެއިންނެވެ.

and when we let mankind taste of mercy after an adversity hath touched them, forthwith they have a plot with regard to his signs. say thou: allah is swifter in plotting.
އަދި މީސްތަކުންނަށް ތަދުމަޑު حال އެއް ޖެހުމަށްފަހު، އެއުރެންނަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ رحمة ލައްވައި، ތިޔާގިކަމުގެ ރަހަ ދައްކަވާހިނދު، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތައް އެއުރެން ދޮގުކޮށް މަކަރު ހަދަތެވެ. ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! އެއުރެންގެ މަކަރު ރައްދުކުރެއްވުމުގައި، اللَّه އަވަސްވެވޮޑިގަތުން ބޮޑެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ملائكة ން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހަދާ މަކަރުތައް ލިޔުއްވަތެވެ.

so when the bearer of good news came he cast it on his face, so forthwith he regained his sight. he said: did i not say to you that i know from allah what you do not know?
ފަހެ، އުފާވެރިކަމުގެ خبر ދޭމީހާ އައިސް އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ މޫނުފުޅުމައްޗަށް އެ ގަަމީސްކޮޅު އެއްލިއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެހިނދު ލޮލަށް ފެންނަމީހަކު ކަމުގައި އަލުން އެކަލޭގެފާނު ވެވަޑައިގެންފިއެވެ. އެކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ނޭނގޭ ކަންތައްތަކެއް ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه ގެ حضرة ން ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނަށް އެނގިވަޑައިގަންނަވާކަމަށް، ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅެއް ނުވަންހެއްޔެވެ؟

but when the bearer of good tidings came to him, and laid it on his face, forthwith he saw once again. he said, 'did i not tell you i know from god that you know not?'
ފަހެ، އުފާވެރިކަމުގެ خبر ދޭމީހާ އައިސް އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ މޫނުފުޅުމައްޗަށް އެ ގަަމީސްކޮޅު އެއްލިއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެހިނދު ލޮލަށް ފެންނަމީހަކު ކަމުގައި އަލުން އެކަލޭގެފާނު ވެވަޑައިގެންފިއެވެ. އެކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ނޭނގޭ ކަންތައްތަކެއް ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه ގެ حضرة ން ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނަށް އެނގިވަޑައިގަންނަވާކަމަށް، ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅެއް ނުވަންހެއްޔެވެ؟

recall what time musa said unto his household: verily i perceive a fire afar; i shall forthwith bring you tidings thereof, or bring unto you a brand lighted therefrom, haply ye may warm yourselves.
موسى ގެފާނު އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ أهل ވެރިންނަށް ވިދާޅުވިހިނދު ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނަށް އަލިފާންގަނޑެއް ފެނިއްޖެއެވެ. ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނު އެތަނުން خبر އަކާއިގެން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ގާތަށް ވަޑައިގަންނަވާހުށީމެވެ. ނުވަތަ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހީފިލުވުމަށް ހުޅުކޮޅެއް ގެންނަވާހުށީމެވެ.

forthwith he (starts) constructing the ark: every time that the chiefs of his people passed by him, they threw ridicule on him. he said: "if ye ridicule us now, we (in our turn) can look down on you with ridicule likewise!
އަދި އެކަލޭގެފާނު ނާކޮޅު ބަންނަވަމުން ގެންދެވިއެވެ. އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ قوم ގެމީހުންކުރެ، ބޮޑުންގެ ބަޔަކު އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަރިހުންލާފައި ހިނގައްޖެ ކޮންމެ ފަހަރަކު، އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް މަލާމާތްކުރެތެވެ. އެކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވެތެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނަށް މަލާމާތްކުރާނަމަ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން މަލާމާތްކުރާ ފަދައިން، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންމެންވެސް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް މަލާމާތް ކުރާނަމެވެ.
