އަދި ކަޅިރަވަ ތޫނު، عفة ތެރި حورالعين ން އެއުރެންގެ ގާތުގައިވެއެވެ.

and with them maidens restraining their glances of equal age.
އަދި އެއުރެންނަށް އެއްފުރާގެ އަނބިންތައްވެއެވެ. އެ އަނބިން، ފިރިން ނޫން އެހެންބަޔަކަށް ނުބަލާނެތެވެ.

and when they passed by them, they would exchange derisive glances.
އަދި އެއުރެން އެ مؤمن ންގެ ކައިރިންދާހިނދު، ލޮލުގެ إشارة ން ފުރައްސާރަ ކުރެތެވެ.

and there will be with them maidens of restrained glances, of a like age.
އަދި އެއުރެންނަށް އެއްފުރާގެ އަނބިންތައްވެއެވެ. އެ އަނބިން، ފިރިން ނޫން އެހެންބަޔަކަށް ނުބަލާނެތެވެ.

and with them will be maidens (houris) who restrain their wide glances
އަދި ކަޅިރަވަ ތޫނު، عفة ތެރި حورالعين ން އެއުރެންގެ ގާތުގައިވެއެވެ.

in them are maidens restraining their glances, untouched before by any man or jinn.
ކަޅިތައް عفة ތެރި، حورالعين ން އެ ސުވަރުގެތަކުގައިވެއެވެ. އެއުރެންގެ ކުރިން އިންސިއަކުވެސް، އަދި ޖިންނިއަކުވެސް އެކަނބަލުންގައި ބީހިފައެއް ނުވެއެވެ.

and with them will be maidens, of restrained glances with big [beautiful] eyes,
އަދި ކަޅިރަވަ ތޫނު، عفة ތެރި حورالعين ން އެއުރެންގެ ގާތުގައިވެއެވެ.

but what is the matter with the unbelievers, that they strain their glances continuously towards them,
އެއުރެންވަނީ، ސުވަރުގެތަކެއްގައި މާތްކުރައްވާފައެވެ.

companions restrained (as to their glances), in (goodly) pavilions;-
(އެއީ) ފޭލިގެތަކުގައި ފަރުދާވެވިގެންވާ حور ންތަކެކެވެ.

and beside them will be chaste women restraining their glances, (companions) of equal age.
އަދި އެއުރެންނަށް އެއްފުރާގެ އަނބިންތައްވެއެވެ. އެ އަނބިން، ފިރިން ނޫން އެހެންބަޔަކަށް ނުބަލާނެތެވެ.

in them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni -
ކަޅިތައް عفة ތެރި، حورالعين ން އެ ސުވަރުގެތަކުގައިވެއެވެ. އެއުރެންގެ ކުރިން އިންސިއަކުވެސް، އަދި ޖިންނިއަކުވެސް އެކަނބަލުންގައި ބީހިފައެއް ނުވެއެވެ.

when they shall run with necks outstretched and heads erect, their glances never returned on themselves, their hearts void.
އެއުރެން އިސްއުފުލައި އަވަސްއަވަހަށް ހިނގާފައި ދާނެތެވެ. އެއުރެންގެ ލޮލުގެ އެސްފިޔަވެސް ޖަހައިނުލެވޭހުށްޓެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންގެ ހިތްތައް ވާނީ، އެކައްޗެއްވެސް ނެތި ހުސްވެފައެވެ.

and besides them will be chaste women, restraining their glances, with big eyes (of wonder and beauty).
އަދި ކަޅިރަވަ ތޫނު، عفة ތެރި حورالعين ން އެއުރެންގެ ގާތުގައިވެއެވެ.

and with them will be chaste females, restraining their glances (desiring none except their husbands), with wide and beautiful eyes.
އަދި ކަޅިރަވަ ތޫނު، عفة ތެރި حورالعين ން އެއުރެންގެ ގާތުގައިވެއެވެ.

the unbelievers wellnigh strike thee down with their glances, when they hear the reminder, and they say, 'surely he is a man possessed!'
كافر ވި މީހުން قرآن ގެ އަޑު އެހިހިނދު، އެއުރެންގެ ބެލުންތަކުން ކަލޭގެފާނު ކައްސުވާލައި، ވައްޓައިލުމާ ގާތްކުރެތެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެން ބުނެތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަލޭގެފާނީ މޮޔައެކެވެ.

and beside them will be chaste females (virgins) restraining their glances only for their husbands, (and) of equal ages.
އަދި އެއުރެންނަށް އެއްފުރާގެ އަނބިންތައްވެއެވެ. އެ އަނބިން، ފިރިން ނޫން އެހެންބަޔަކަށް ނުބަލާނެތެވެ.

(and remember) when you ran away (dreadfully) without even casting a side glance at anyone, and the messenger (muhammad saw) was in your rear calling you back. there did allah give you one distress after another by way of requital to teach you not to grieve for that which had escaped you, nor for that which had befallen you.
(އެއީ) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެކަކަށްވެސް އެނބުރި ބަލައިނުލައި ދުރަށްދިޔަ ހިނދުގައެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ފަހަތުން رسول އާ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ގޮވާލައްވާ حال ގައެވެ. ދެން، މޮޅިވެރިކަމަކާ ވިދިގެން މޮޅިވެރިކަމަކުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ޖަޒާ ދެއްވިއެވެ. (އެއީ) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް (غنيمة އިން) ފާއިތުވީ އެއްޗެއްގެ މައްޗަށާއި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ޖެހުނު ކަންތަކުގެ މައްޗަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހިތާމަ ނުކުރުމަށްޓަކައެވެ. اللَّه އީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކުރާ ކަންތައް މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.
