they disobeyed the messenger of their lord and he seized them with torment which increased with time.
ފަހެ، އެއުރެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ ފޮނުއްވި رسول އާއަށް އެއުރެން އުރެދުނޫއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެކަލާނގެ ގަދަފަދަވެގެންވާ عذاب ގެ ހިއްޕެވުމަކުން އެއުރެން ހިއްޕެވިއެވެ.

some individual humans used to seek power through some individual jinn, but they only increased them in confusion.

"certain human beings sought refuge with certain jinn and this increased the rebelliousness of those jinn.

and persons among humankind have been seeking refuge with persons of the jinn, so that they increased them in evil disposition.
އަދި އިންސީންގެ ތެރެއިން ފިރިހެންބަޔަކު، ޖިންނީންގެ ތެރެއިން ފިރިހެންބަޔެއްގެ ކިބައިން ރައްކާތެރިކަމަށް އެދޭކަމުގައިވޫއެވެ. ފަހެ (އެކަމުގެ ސަބަބުން) އެއުރެންނަށް (އެބަހީ: ޖިންނީންނަށް) އެއުރެން (އެބަހީ: އިންސީން) كافر ކަމާއި ބޮޑާކަން އިތުރުކުރޫއެވެ.

and that persons from among men used to seek refuge with persons from among jinn, so they increased them in wrongdoing:
އަދި އިންސީންގެ ތެރެއިން ފިރިހެންބަޔަކު، ޖިންނީންގެ ތެރެއިން ފިރިހެންބަޔެއްގެ ކިބައިން ރައްކާތެރިކަމަށް އެދޭކަމުގައިވޫއެވެ. ފަހެ (އެކަމުގެ ސަބަބުން) އެއުރެންނަށް (އެބަހީ: ޖިންނީންނަށް) އެއުރެން (އެބަހީ: އިންސީން) كافر ކަމާއި ބޮޑާކަން އިތުރުކުރޫއެވެ.

in their hearts is a disease, which god has increased. they will have a painful punishment, because they have been lying.
އެއުރެންގެ ހިތްތަކުގައި ބަލިމަޑުކަމެއްވެއެވެ. އެކަމުން، اللَّه، އެއުރެންނަށް އެ ބަލިމަޑުކަން އިތުރު ކުރެއްވިއެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެން ދޮގުހަދައި އުޅުނުކަމުގެ ސަބަބުން، އެއުރެންނަށް ވޭންދެނިވި عذاب ހުށްޓެވެ.

'true, there were persons among mankind who took shelter with persons among the jinns, but they increased them in folly.
އަދި އިންސީންގެ ތެރެއިން ފިރިހެންބަޔަކު، ޖިންނީންގެ ތެރެއިން ފިރިހެންބަޔެއްގެ ކިބައިން ރައްކާތެރިކަމަށް އެދޭކަމުގައިވޫއެވެ. ފަހެ (އެކަމުގެ ސަބަބުން) އެއުރެންނަށް (އެބަހީ: ޖިންނީންނަށް) އެއުރެން (އެބަހީ: އިންސީން) كافر ކަމާއި ބޮޑާކަން އިތުރުކުރޫއެވެ.

and that “some from among the humans used to seek protection of some among the jinn, and thus they increased the arrogance of the jinn”;

އަދި ބިރުދައްކައި، ފޭރުމަށާއި، اللَّه އަށް إيمان ވި މީހުން އެކަލާނގެ މަގުން އެއްކިބާކުރުމަށާއި، އެމަގު ގުދުމަގަކަށް ހެދުމަށް އެދި، އެއްވެސް މަގެއްގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނުތިބޭށެވެ! އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން، މަދުބަޔަކު ކަމުގައި ތިއްބައި އެކަލާނގެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ގިނަކުރެއްވިކަން ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ! އަދި فساد ކުރާ މީހުންގެ ނިމުންހުރީ ކިހިނަކުންކަން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދެކޭށެވެ!

in their hearts is a disease, so allah hath increased unto them that disease; and unto them shall be a torment afflictive, for they have been lying.
އެއުރެންގެ ހިތްތަކުގައި ބަލިމަޑުކަމެއްވެއެވެ. އެކަމުން، اللَّه، އެއުރެންނަށް އެ ބަލިމަޑުކަން އިތުރު ކުރެއްވިއެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެން ދޮގުހަދައި އުޅުނުކަމުގެ ސަބަބުން، އެއުރެންނަށް ވޭންދެނިވި عذاب ހުށްޓެވެ.

ބިމުގައި خليفة އިންތަކެއް ކަމުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ލެއްވީ އެކަލާނގެއެވެ. ފަހެ، كافر ވެއްޖެމީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެމީހާގެ كافر ކަން އޮތީ ހަމަ އެމީހާގެ މައްޗަށެވެ. އަދި كافر ންނަށް އެއުރެން كافر ވުމުގެ ސަބަބުން، އެއުރެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ގައި ކޯފާމެނުވީ އިތުރެއް ނުވާނެތެވެ. އަދި كافر ވި މީހުންނަށް އެއުރެންގެ كافر ކަމުގެ ސަބަބުން ގެއްލުމެއް މެނުވީ އިތުރެއް ނުވާނެތެވެ.

and indeed (o muhammad) individuals of humankind used to invoke the protection of individuals of the jinn, so that they increased them in revolt against allah);
އަދި އިންސީންގެ ތެރެއިން ފިރިހެންބަޔަކު، ޖިންނީންގެ ތެރެއިން ފިރިހެންބަޔެއްގެ ކިބައިން ރައްކާތެރިކަމަށް އެދޭކަމުގައިވޫއެވެ. ފަހެ (އެކަމުގެ ސަބަބުން) އެއުރެންނަށް (އެބަހީ: ޖިންނީންނަށް) އެއުރެން (އެބަހީ: އިންސީން) كافر ކަމާއި ބޮޑާކަން އިތުރުކުރޫއެވެ.

and whenever a surah s sent down, there are some of them who say which of you hath this increased in faith! as for those who believe, it hath increased them in faith, and they rejoice.
سورة އެއް ބާވައިލައްވައިފިނަމަ، އެ سورة ން އެމީހެއްގެ إيمان ކަން އިތުރުވީ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން ކާކުހޭ ބުނެއުޅޭ މީހުން އެއުރެންގެ ތެރެއިންވެއެވެ. ފަހެ، إيمان ވެއްޖެ މީސްތަކުން ދަންނާށެވެ! ފަހެ، އެއުރެން (އެކަމަށްޓަކައި) އުފާކުރާ حال، އެއުރެންގެ إيمان ކަން އިތުރުވިއެވެ.

and when the believers saw the allies, they said: this is what allah and his apostle promised us, and allah and his apostle spoke the truth; and it only increased them in faith and submission.
އަދި (كافر ންގެ) جماعة ތައް مؤمن ންނަށް ފެނުނުހިނދު، އެއުރެން ބުނޫއެވެ. މިއީ ތިމަންމެންނަށް اللَّه އާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول އާ وعد ކުރެއްވި ކަންތަކެވެ. އަދި اللَّه އާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول އާ އިއްވެވީ ތެދުބަހެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންނަކަށް އެކަމުގެ ސަބަބުން إيمان ކަމާއި، ކިޔަމަންތެރިކަން މެނުވީ އިތުރެއް ނުވެތެވެ.

'and verily, there were men among mankind who took shelter with the masculine among the jinns, but they (jinns) increased them (mankind) in sin and disbelief.
އަދި އިންސީންގެ ތެރެއިން ފިރިހެންބަޔަކު، ޖިންނީންގެ ތެރެއިން ފިރިހެންބަޔެއްގެ ކިބައިން ރައްކާތެރިކަމަށް އެދޭކަމުގައިވޫއެވެ. ފަހެ (އެކަމުގެ ސަބަބުން) އެއުރެންނަށް (އެބަހީ: ޖިންނީންނަށް) އެއުރެން (އެބަހީ: އިންސީން) كافر ކަމާއި ބޮޑާކަން އިތުރުކުރޫއެވެ.
