and when the service of prayer is over spread out in the land, and look for the bounty of god. and remember god a great deal that you may prosper.
ފަހެ، ނަމާދުކޮށް އަވަދިވެއްޖެހިނދު، ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ބިމުގައި ފެތުރިގަންނާށެވެ! (އެބަހީ: حياة ގެ މައިދާނަށް ނުކުންނާށެވެ!) އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން اللَّه ގެ فضل ވަންތަކަމުން (ދެއްވުމަށް) އެދޭށެވެ! އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ގިނަގިނައިން اللَّه ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ! އެއީ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދިންނަވައި نصيب ލިބުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

surely they have come by the city that was rained on by an evil rain; what, have they not seen it? nay, but they look for no upraising.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ނުބައިކަމުގެ ވާރެއިން ވާރޭވެހުނު ރަށް (އެބަހީ: لوط ބާގައިމީހުން އުޅުނު سَدُوم އެވެ ކިޔާ ރަށް) ކަޑައްތުކޮށް އެއުރެން އައޫއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެން އެތަން ދެކޭކަމުގައި ނުވޭހެއްޔެވެ؟ އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! އަލުން ދިރުއްވުމަކަށް ފޮނުއްވާނެ ކަމާމެދު، ބިރުވެތިނުވާ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައި އެއުރެންވޫއެވެ.

indeed, those who recite the book of allah and establish their prayers and spend, in secret and in public of that which we have provided them, look for a trade that does not come to nothing,
ހަމަށަވަރުން، اللَّه ގެފޮތް ކިޔަވައި، އަދި ނަމާދު قائم ކޮށް، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް ދެއްވި ތަކެތިން ސިއްރާއި ފާޅުގައި ހޭދަކޮށްއުޅޭ މީހުންނީ، ގެއްލުން ނުވާނެ ވިޔަފާރިޔަކަށް އެދޭ ބަޔެކެވެ.

they have surely passed by the village which was rained upon by evil rain (of stones); what, have they never seen it? no, they look for no resurrection.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ނުބައިކަމުގެ ވާރެއިން ވާރޭވެހުނު ރަށް (އެބަހީ: لوط ބާގައިމީހުން އުޅުނު سَدُوم އެވެ ކިޔާ ރަށް) ކަޑައްތުކޮށް އެއުރެން އައޫއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެން އެތަން ދެކޭކަމުގައި ނުވޭހެއްޔެވެ؟ އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! އަލުން ދިރުއްވުމަކަށް ފޮނުއްވާނެ ކަމާމެދު، ބިރުވެތިނުވާ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައި އެއުރެންވޫއެވެ.

do they look for aught but that the angels shall come to them, or thy lord's command shall come? so did those before them, and god wronged them not, but themselves they wronged.
އެއުރެންގެ ގާތަށް ملائكة ން ވަޑައިގަތުމަށް، ނުވަތަ ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ (عذاب ގެ) أمر ފުޅު އައުމަށް މެނުވީ އެއުރެން انتظار ކުރޭ ހެއްޔެވެ؟ އެއުރެންގެ ކުރީގެ މީހުންވެސް ކަންތައްކުޅައީ، ހަމައެފަދައިންނެވެ. اللَّه، އެއުރެންނަކަށް އަނިޔާއެއް ނުކުރައްވަތެވެ. އެހެނެއްކަމަކު، އެއުރެންގެ އަމިއްލަ نفس ތަކަށް، އެއުރެން އަނިޔާކުރާކަމުގައި ވޫއެވެ.

"your lord knows best," they said, "how long you have stayed. so send one of you to the town with this money of yours to look for wholesome food and bring it for you; but he should be careful not to let your presence known.
އެފަދައިން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެން (ނިދިން ހޭލައްވައި) އަލުން ފޮނުއްވީމެވެ. (އެއީ) އެއުރެންގެ އެކަކު އަނެކަކާ سؤال ކުރުމަށެވެ. އެއުރެންކުރެ ބުނިމީހަކު ބުންޏެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުން (މިތާނގައި) ތިބީ، ކިތައްދުވަހުހެއްޔެވެ؟ އެއުރެން ބުނޫއެވެ. ތިމަންމެންތިބީ، އެއްދުވަހު، ނުވަތަ ދުވަހެއްގެ ބައެއްގައެވެ. އެމީހުން ބުނޫއެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުންތިބި މުއްދަތެއް ދެނެވޮޑިގަތުންބޮޑީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މިފައިސާ ހިފައިގެން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންކުރެ އެކަކު، ރަށުތެރެއަށް ފޮނުވައިބަލާށެވެ! އެމީހަކު އެންމެރަނގަޅު، حلال ކާނާއެއް ބަލާހުށިކަމެވެ! އަދި އެއިން ކާއެތިކޮޅެއް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ގެންނަހުށިކަމެވެ! އަދި އެމީހަކު ރައްކާތެރިކަމާއެކު، މަޑުމައިތިރިވެ އުޅޭހުށިކަމެވެ! އަދި އެއްވެސް މީހަކަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ خبر އެނގުނަދީގެން ނުވާނެއެވެ.
