އެ ބިނާތަކަކީ، ރަށްތަކުގައި އެފަދަ ބިނާތަކެއް ހެދިފައި ނުވާފަދަ ބިނާތަކެކެވެ.

and truly before them, many of the ancients went astray;-
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އިސްވެދިޔަމީހުންކުރެ ގިނަމީހުން އޭގެކުރިންވަނީ މަގުފުރެދިފައެވެ.

and assuredly there went stray before them many of the ancients.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އިސްވެދިޔަމީހުންކުރެ ގިނަމީހުން އޭގެކުރިންވަނީ މަގުފުރެދިފައެވެ.

allah, who is in need of none and of whom all are in need;
اللَّه އީ، އެންމެހާ ތަކެތި އެކަލާނގެއަށް ބޭނުންތެރިވެގެންވާ، އަދި އެއްވެސް އެއްޗަކަށް، އެކަލާނގެ ބޭނުންވެވޮޑިގެންނުވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

except for lot's household, all of whom we shall rescue,
لوط ގެފާނުގެ أهل ވެރިން މެނުވީއެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންމެން އެ ހުރިހާ އެންމެން ސަލާމަތްކުރާ ހުށީމުއެވެ.

but he beguiled a great many of you. why did you not then understand?
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެ شيطان އާ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން ގިނަބަޔަކު މަގުފުރައްދައިފިއެވެ. ފަހެ، ވިސްނާ ބަޔަކުކަމުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނުވަމުހެއްޔެވެ؟

the like of whom no nation was ever created in the lands of the world?
އެ ބިނާތަކަކީ، ރަށްތަކުގައި އެފަދަ ބިނާތަކެއް ހެދިފައި ނުވާފަދަ ބިނާތަކެކެވެ.

he shows his signs. how many of god's signs will you then deny?
އަދި އެކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް، އެކަލާނގެ آية ތައް ދައްކަވަތެވެ. ފަހެ، اللَّه ގެ آية ތަކުގެ ތެރެއިން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އިންކާރުކުރަނީ ކޮންآية އަކަށް ހެއްޔެވެ؟

and we have appointed thereon for you livelihoods and also for those of whom ye are not the providers.
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށްޓަކައްޔާއި، އެ ތަކެއްޗަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން رزق ދޭ ކަމުގައި ނުވާ ތަކެއްޗަށްޓަކައި، ދިރިއުޅުމުގެ وسيلة ތައް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެ ބިމުގައި ލެއްވީމެވެ.

certainly, he has led astray many of your generations. have you not exercised your reason?
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެ شيطان އާ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން ގިނަބަޔަކު މަގުފުރައްދައިފިއެވެ. ފަހެ، ވިސްނާ ބަޔަކުކަމުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނުވަމުހެއްޔެވެ؟

and every time they made a pledge some of them pushed it aside, and many of them do not believe.
އެއުރެން عهد އެއް ކުރާ ކޮންމެހިނދަކު، އޭގެތެރެއިން ބަޔަކު އެ عهد އެއްލައިލަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟ އަދި ކިއެއްތަ؟ އޭގެ ގިނަމީހުން إيمان އެއް ނުވެތެވެ.

and how many of the generations have we destroyed before them who were better in respect of goods and outward appearance!
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންގެ ކުރިން ކިތައް ކިތައް أمّة ހަލާކުކުރެއްވިން ހެއްޔެވެ؟ މުދާވެރިކަމުގެ ގޮތުންނާއި، ފެންނަ ފެނުމަށް އެއުރެން މާރަނގަޅެވެ.

do they not see how many of the generations we have destroyed before them? verily, they will not return to them.
އެއުރެންގެ ކުރިން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ، ކިތައްކިތައް أمّة ހަލާކުކުރެއްވިކަން އެއުރެންނަށް ނޭނގޭހެއްޔެވެ؟ ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެން އެއުރެންގެ ގާތަށް އެނބުރިއެއް ނާންނާނެތެވެ.

many of them follow nothing but illusion; yet illusion cannot replace the reality. god verily knows what they do.
އެއުރެންކުރެ ގިނަމީހުން ހީއަކާމެނުވީ تبع އެއް ނުވެތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ހީއަކީ حق ގެ ބަދަލުގައި އެއްވެސްކަމެއް ފުއްދައިދޭނޭ އެއްޗެއްނޫނެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، އެއުރެން ކުރާ ކަންތައް މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

and remove the anger of their (believers') hearts. allah accepts the repentance of whom he wills.
އަދި އެއުރެންގެ (އެބަހީ: مؤمن ންގެ) ހިތްތަކުގައިވާ ރުޅިވެރިކަން ފިއްލަވާނެތެވެ. اللَّه އިރާދަކުރައްވާ ބަޔެއްގެ މައްޗަށް توبة ލައްވާނެތެވެ. اللَّه އީ، މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ حكيم ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.
