ފަހެ، އެއުރެން ސިއްރުސިއްރުން ވާހަކަދައްކަމުން (އެތަނަށް) ދިޔައޫއެވެ.

and they disputed upon their plan between them, and communed secretly
ދެން އެއުރެންގެ ކަންތަކާމެދު (އެބަހީ: موسى ގެފާނާމެދު) އެއުރެންގެ މެދުގައި خلاف ވެ ދެކޮޅުވެރިވެއްޖައޫއެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންކުޅަ ސައްލާތައް (މީސްތަކުންނަށް) އެއުރެން ސިއްރުކޮށްފޫއެވެ.

call on your lord, humbly and secretly; he loves not transgressors.
މަޑުމޮޅިކަމާއި، ވަންހަނާ ގޮތުގައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް دعاء ކުރާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިދާ މީހުންދެކެ އެކަލާނގެ ލޯބިވެވޮޑިގެނެއް ނުވެތެވެ.

ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ބުނާއެއްޗެއް ސިއްރުކުރާށެވެ! ނުވަތަ އެ ފާޅުކުރާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަލާނގެއީ، ހިތްތަކުގައި ވާހާކަމެއް، މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

call on your lord humbly and secretly; surely he does not love those who exceed the limits.
މަޑުމޮޅިކަމާއި، ވަންހަނާ ގޮތުގައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް دعاء ކުރާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިދާ މީހުންދެކެ އެކަލާނގެ ލޯބިވެވޮޑިގެނެއް ނުވެތެވެ.

އެއުރެންގެ މެދުގައި އެއްބަޔަކު އަނެއްބަޔަކަށް ސިއްރު ވާހަކަ ދައްކަމުން ބުނާނެތެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުން (ދުނިޔެމަތީގައި) ދިހަ ދުވަހު މެނުވީ ނުތިބެމުއެވެ.

އަދި، (رجعى عدة ފިޔަވައި އެހެން عدة ގައިވާ) އަންހެނުންކުރެން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކާވެނިކުރަން އެދޭކަމުގެ މައްޗަށް ދޭހަވާ ނުވަތަ إشارة ކުރާ ބަހެއް ބުނުމާމެދު، ނުވަތަ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ހިތުތެރޭގައި (ކާވެނިކުރުމުގެ قصد) ފޮރުވާފައި ބޭއްވުމާމެދު، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މައްޗަކަށް ފާފައެއްނެތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެކަނބަލުން ކުރެން (صريح ކޮށް) ކާވެނިކުރުމަށް އެދޭނޭކަން اللَّه ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވެއެވެ. އެހެނެއްކަމަކު، شرعى ހަމައިގެ މަތިންވާ ބަހެއް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ބުނުން ފިޔަވައި، އެކަނބަލުންނަށް ކާވެނިކުރުމާމެދު وعد ވެ ނުހަދާހުށިކަމެވެ! އަދި، އެކަނބަލުންގެ عدّة ހަމަވެއްޖައުމަށްދާނދެން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން (އެކަނބަލުންނާ) ކާވެނި عقد ނުކުރާހުށިކަމެވެ! އަދި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ نفس ތަކުގައިވާ ކަންތައް ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާކަން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދަންނާށެވެ! ވީމާ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން، އެކަލާނގެއަށް ބިރުވެތިވެ ރައްކާތެރިވާށެވެ! އަދި، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، ގިނަގިނައިން ފާފަފުއްސަވާ حليم ވަންތަ، ރަސްކަލާނގެކަން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދަންނާށެވެ!

are they not aware that allah knows what they conceal and what they secretly discuss, and that allah has full knowledge even of all that is beyond the reach of perception.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެންގެ (ހިތްތަކުގައިވާ) ސިއްރުތަކާއި، އެއުރެންގެ ސިއްރު ސައްލާތައް اللَّه ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާކަމާއި، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، غيب ތައް މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެކަން އެއުރެން ނުދަންނަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟

god knows those who secretly walk away from you and hide themselves. those who oppose the messengers should beware, lest some trouble or a painful torment should befall them.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ އެއްބަޔަކު އަނެއްބަޔަކަށް ގޮވައިއުޅޭފަދައިން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މެދުގައި رسول އާއަށް ގޮވައިނޫޅޭށެވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން (إذن އެއްނެތި) ފިލައިގެންދާ މީހުން ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވެތެވެ. ފަހެ، އެކަލާނގެ أمر ފުޅާ خلاف ވާމީހުންނަށް ބަލާއެއް ނުވަތަ ވޭންދެނިވި عذاب އެއް ޖެހިދާނެކަމަށް، އެއުރެން ބިރުވެތިވާހުށިކަމެވެ!

indeed those who recite the book of allah and maintain the prayer, and spend secretly and openly out of what we have provided them, expect a commerce that will never go bankrupt,
ހަމަށަވަރުން، اللَّه ގެފޮތް ކިޔަވައި، އަދި ނަމާދު قائم ކޮށް، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް ދެއްވި ތަކެތިން ސިއްރާއި ފާޅުގައި ހޭދަކޮށްއުޅޭ މީހުންނީ، ގެއްލުން ނުވާނެ ވިޔަފާރިޔަކަށް އެދޭ ބަޔެކެވެ.

it is all the same for him whether any of you says a thing secretly, or says it loudly, and whether one hides oneself in the darkness of night, or struts about in broad daylight.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންކުރެ ބުނާ ބަސް ސިއްރުކުރާ މީހާއާއި، އެ ބަސް ފާޅުކުރާ މީހާއާއި، ރޭގަނޑު (އަނދިރީގައި) ފޮރުވިގެންވާ މީހާއާއި، ދުވާލު އެތަންމިތަނަށް ހިނގާމީހާ (އެކަލާނގެ ދެނެވޮޑިގަތުމުގައި) ހަމަހަމަވެގެންވެތެވެ.

have you noted those who were prohibited from conspiring secretly, but then reverted to what they were prohibited from? they conspire to commit sin, and aggression, and defiance of the messenger.
ސިއްރު ސައްލާކޮށް އުޅުން އެއުރެންނަށް ނަހީކުރައްވާފައިވާ މީހުން ކަލޭގެފާނު ދެކެވަޑައިނުގަންނަވަމުތޯއެވެ؟ ދެން އެއުރެންނަށް ނަހީކުރެއްވި ކަންތައް ކުރުމަށް އެއުރެން އެނބުރި އާދެއެވެ. އަދި ފާފަވެރިކަމާއި، عداوة ތެރިކަމާއި، رسول އާއަށް ނުކިޔަމަންތެރިވުމަށް އެއުރެން ސިއްރު ސައްލާ ކުރެތެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެން ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަރިހަށް އަންނަހިނދު، ކަލޭގެފާނަށް اللَّه سلام وحى ނުކުރައްވާ ބަހަކުން އެއުރެން ކަލޭގެފާނަށް سلام ދަންނަވަތެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންގެ އަމިއްލަ نفس ތަކަށް އެއުރެން ބުނެތެވެ. ތިމަންމެން މިކިޔާ އެއްޗަކަށްޓަކައި اللَّه ތިމަންމެންނަށް عذاب ނުދެއްވަނީ ކީއްވެގެންހެއްޔެވެ؟ ނަރަކަ އެއުރެންނަށް ފުދެއެވެ. އެތަނަށް އެއުރެން ވަންނާނެތެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއީ ހާދަހާ ނުބައިވެގެންވާ ނިމިދިޔުމެކެވެ.

allah strikes a parable. a servant owned by his master, having no power over anything, and one to whom we have given from us a fine provision who spends it secretly and openly, are they equal?
އެހެންމީހަކަށް މިލްކުވެގެންވާ، އަދި އެއްވެސްކަމެއް ކުރުމަށް ކުޅަދާނަވެގެންނުވާ އަޅަކާއި، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ހެޔޮވެގެންވާ رزق ން رزق ދެއްވައި، ސިއްރާއި ފާޅުގައި އެއިން ހޭދަކޮށްއުޅޭ މީހަކާ ދެމީހުންގެ مثال ން اللَّه، مثال އެއް ޖެއްސެވިއެވެ. އެއުރެން ހަމަހަމަވާނޭ ހެއްޔެވެ؟ حمد ހުރީ، اللَّه އަށެވެ. އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! އެއުރެންކުރެ ގިނަ މީހުންނަކަށް ނޭނގެތެވެ.

god cites the example of a bonded slave, who has no power over anything; and someone to whom we have given plentiful provision, from which he gives secretly and openly. are they equal in comparison?
