telling [them]: ‘‘plead to your lord for forgiveness. indeed, he is all-forgiving.
ފަހެ، ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވީމެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ގައި ފާފަފުއްސެވުމަށްއެދި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދަންނަވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަލާނގެއީ، ގިނަގިނައިން ފާފަފުއްސަވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެކަމުގައިވެއެވެ.

"but if it be that his shirt is torn from the back, then is she the liar, and he is telling the truth!"
އަދި އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ގަމީސްކޮޅު ވީދިފައިވަނީ، ފުރަގަހުންނަމަ، އެކަނބުލޭގެ އެހެދީ ދޮގެވެ. އަދި އެކަލޭގެފާނު އެވަނީ ތެދުވެރިންގެ ތެެރެއިންނެވެ.

ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! اللَّه ފިޔަވައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އަޅުކަންކޮށްއުޅޭ ތަކެއްޗާމެދު، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނިކަން خبر ދީބަލާށެވެ! އެއުރެން ބިމުންހެދީ ކޮންތަނެއްކަން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނަށް ދައްކައިބަލާށެވެ! ނުވަތަ އުޑުތައް ހެދުމުގައި ބައިވެރިވުމެއް، އެއުރެންނަށް ވަނީހެއްޔެވެ؟ މީގެކުރިން (ބާވައިލެއްވި) ފޮތެއް ނުވަތަ علم ގެ ތެރެއިން މިންވަރެއް، ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ގެނެސްދީބަލާށެވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނީ، ތެދުވެރިންކަމުގައި ވާނަމައެވެ.

[pharaoh] said, "if you come with a sign, then produce it, if you are telling the truth."
އޭނާ ދެންނެވިއެވެ. ކަލޭގެފާނު ތިޔަވަޑައިގަތީ، ހެތްކަކާއިގެން ކަމުގައިވާނަމަ (އަދި) ތެދުވެރިންގެ ތެރެއިން ކަލޭގެފާނު ވާނަމަ، ފަހެ، އެ ހެތްކެއް ނިކަން ގެންނަވައި ބައްލަވާށެވެ!

އޭ އަހުރެންގެ قوم ގެމީހުންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ގޮތުގައި ތިބެގެން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން عمل ކޮށްބަލާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އަހުރެންވެސް (އަހުރެންގެ ގޮތުގައި) عمل ކުރާހުށީމެވެ. އެމީހަކު ނިކަމެތި ކުރަނިވި عذاب އެއް، އެމީހަކާ ހަމަޔަށް އަންނަ މީހަކީ، ކާކުކަމާއި، ދޮގުހަދާ މީހަކީ ކާކުކަން، ނިކަންހުރެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެނގޭނެތެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ބަލަބަލާ ތިބޭށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އަހުރެންވެސް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނާއެކު ބަލަބަލާ އެބަހުރީމެވެ.

އެ قرآن އާމެދު ބޮޑާވެގަންނަ حال ގައެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ރޭގަނޑުގެ ވަގުތުގައި (އެ قرآن އަށް) މަލާމާތްކޮށް ވާހަކަދައްކަން ތިބޭހިނދުގައެވެ.

"'ask at the town where we have been and the caravan in which we returned, and (you will find) we are indeed telling the truth.'"
އަދި ތިމަންމެންގޮސް ތިބި ރަށުގެ މީހުންނާ، އަދި ތިމަންމެން އޭގައި ދަތުރުކޮށްފައި އައި قافلة ގެ މީހުންނާ سؤال ކުރައްވާށެވެ! އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންމެންނީ ތެދުބުނާ ބަޔަކީމުއެވެ.

"and ask (the people of) the town where we have been, and the caravan in which we returned, and indeed we are telling the truth."
އަދި ތިމަންމެންގޮސް ތިބި ރަށުގެ މީހުންނާ، އަދި ތިމަންމެން އޭގައި ދަތުރުކޮށްފައި އައި قافلة ގެ މީހުންނާ سؤال ކުރައްވާށެވެ! އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންމެންނީ ތެދުބުނާ ބަޔަކީމުއެވެ.
