(އެއީ) ބުއްދީގެ أهل ވެރިންނަށް ތެދުމަގެއް ކަމުގައްޔާއި، ހަނދާންކޮށްދިނުމެއް ކަމުގައެވެ.

is there in this an oath for one endowed with understanding?
ބުއްދީގެ ވެރިޔަކަށް އެކަންކަމުގައި (ފުދޭވަރުގެ) ހުވަޔެއް ވާކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

a perception and an understanding, for every bondman who inclines.
(އެއީ ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް) توبة ވާ ކޮންމެ އަޅަކަށް عبرة އެއް ކަމުގައްޔާއި، ހަނދާންކޮށްދިނުމެއް ކަމުގައެވެ.

truly in that there is an oath for those who possess understanding.
ބުއްދީގެ ވެރިޔަކަށް އެކަންކަމުގައި (ފުދޭވަރުގެ) ހުވަޔެއް ވާކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

eat and pasture your livestock. in that are signs for those with understanding.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކާށެވެ! އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ نعم ސޫފިތަކަށް ކާންދީ ހުއިހައްޕާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަމުގައި ބުއްދީގެ أهل ވެރިންނަށް ހެކިތަކެއްވާކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

satan misled a great multitude of you. did you not have any understanding?
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެ شيطان އާ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން ގިނަބަޔަކު މަގުފުރައްދައިފިއެވެ. ފަހެ، ވިސްނާ ބަޔަކުކަމުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނުވަމުހެއްޔެވެ؟

as their inheritance and as a guide and a reminder to the people of understanding.
(އެއީ) ބުއްދީގެ أهل ވެރިންނަށް ތެދުމަގެއް ކަމުގައްޔާއި، ހަނދާންކޮށްދިނުމެއް ކަމުގައެވެ.

but what could tell thee but that perchance he might grow (in spiritual understanding)?-
އަދި އޭނާ ކުށްތަކުން ސާފުވެ، طاهر ވެދާނެކަން، ނުވަތަ އޭނާ ހަނދުމަކޮށް، ދެން އެ ހަނދުމަކުޅައުން އޭނާޔަށް މަންފާކޮށްފާނެކަން ކަލޭގެފާނަށް އަންގައިދެނީ ކޮންއެއްޗެއްތޯއެވެ؟

and there is life for you in retribution, o men of understanding, so that you may avoid.
އަދި قصاص ހިފުމުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް (ވަރަށްބޮޑު) ދިރުމެއްވެއެވެ. އޭ ބުއްދީގެ أهل ވެރިންނޭވެ! (އެއީ) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން تقوى ވެރިވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

god alternates the night and the day. in this there is a lesson for the people of understanding.
اللَّه، ރޭދުވާ ބަދަލުކުރައްވަތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ބުއްދީގެ أهل ވެރިންނަށް އެކަމުގައި، عبرة އެއްވާކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

"and how canst thou have patience about things about which thy understanding is not complete?"
ކަލޭގެފާނަށް އެކަމެއްގެ حقيقة އެނގިވަޑައިނުގަންނަވާ ކަމެއްގެ މައްޗަށް ކަލޭގެފާނަށް ކެތްކުރެއްވޭނީ ފަހެ، ކޮންފަދައަކުންތޯއެވެ؟

god has prepared a severe punishment for them. so, fear god, o men of understanding, who have believed.
اللَّه، އެއުރެންނަށްޓަކައި ގަދަވެގެންވާ عذاب އެއް ތައްޔާރުކުރެއްވިއެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން اللَّه އަށް تقوى ވެރިވާށެވެ! އޭ إيمان ވެގެންތިބި ބުއްދީގެ أهل ވެރިންނޭވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ގާތަށް ހަނދާންކޮށްދެއްވުމެއް اللَّه ބާވައިލެއްވިއެވެ.

and there is life for you in retaliation, o men of understanding, that ye may ward off (evil).
އަދި قصاص ހިފުމުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް (ވަރަށްބޮޑު) ދިރުމެއްވެއެވެ. އޭ ބުއްދީގެ أهل ވެރިންނޭވެ! (އެއީ) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން تقوى ވެރިވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

allah has laid in store for them a grievous chastisement. so fear allah, o people of understanding who have attained to faith.
اللَّه، އެއުރެންނަށްޓަކައި ގަދަވެގެންވާ عذاب އެއް ތައްޔާރުކުރެއްވިއެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން اللَّه އަށް تقوى ވެރިވާށެވެ! އޭ إيمان ވެގެންތިބި ބުއްދީގެ أهل ވެރިންނޭވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ގާތަށް ހަނދާންކޮށްދެއްވުމެއް اللَّه ބާވައިލެއްވިއެވެ.

and there is life for you in (the law of) retaliation, o men of understanding, that you may guard yourselves.
އަދި قصاص ހިފުމުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް (ވަރަށްބޮޑު) ދިރުމެއްވެއެވެ. އޭ ބުއްދީގެ أهل ވެރިންނޭވެ! (އެއީ) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން تقوى ވެރިވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

eat (for yourselves) and pasture your cattle: verily, in this are signs for men endued with understanding.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކާށެވެ! އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ نعم ސޫފިތަކަށް ކާންދީ ހުއިހައްޕާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަމުގައި ބުއްދީގެ أهل ވެރިންނަށް ހެކިތަކެއްވާކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

(muhammad), say, "this is my way. i and all my followers invite you to god with proper understanding.
ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! މިއީ ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނުގެ މަގެވެ. ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނާއި، ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނަށް تبع ވި މީހުން، اللَّه ގެ ފަރާތަށް ގޮވައިލައްވަނީ، އަލިވެގެންވާ دليل އާއެކުގައެވެ. އަދި اللَّه ގެ ހުސްطاهر ވަންތަކަމާއެވެ! އަދި شريك ކުރާ މީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނު ނުވަމެވެ.

allah bestows wisdom on whomever he wills; and whoever receives wisdom has received abundant goodness; but none heed advice except men of understanding.
އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް حكمة ދެއްވައެވެ. އަދި، (އެމީހަކަށް) حكمة ދެއްވި މީހާއަށް ފަހެ، ގިނަވެގެންވާ ހެޔޮކަން ލިބިއްޖެކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. ބުއްދީގެ أهل ވެރިން މެނުވީ، ވިސްނައި ހަނދުމަކޮށެއް ނަހަދަތެވެ.

اللَّه، އެއުރެންނަށްޓަކައި ގަދަވެގެންވާ عذاب އެއް ތައްޔާރުކުރެއްވިއެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން اللَّه އަށް تقوى ވެރިވާށެވެ! އޭ إيمان ވެގެންތިބި ބުއްދީގެ أهل ވެރިންނޭވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ގާތަށް ހަނދާންކޮށްދެއްވުމެއް اللَّه ބާވައިލެއްވިއެވެ.
