ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިފައިވާ، ފާފަކުރުންގިނަ ކޮންމެ މީހަކު މެނުވީ، އެދުވަސް ދޮގެއް ނުކުރާނެތެވެ.

but whoever seeks to go beyond that, these are they that exceed the limits;
ފަހެ، އެއިން ބޭރުގައިވާ ކަމަކަށް އެދިއްޖެމީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނީ (ހުއްދަވެގެންވާ سرحد) ފަހަނަޅައިދާ މީހުންނެވެ.

but he who seeks to go beyond this, these it is that go beyond the limits--
ފަހެ، އެއިން ބޭރުގައިވާ ކަމަކަށް އެދިއްޖެމީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނީ (ހުއްދަވެގެންވާ سرحد) ފަހަނަޅައިދާ މީހުންނެވެ.

call on your lord humbly and secretly; surely he does not love those who exceed the limits.
މަޑުމޮޅިކަމާއި، ވަންހަނާ ގޮތުގައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް دعاء ކުރާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިދާ މީހުންދެކެ އެކަލާނގެ ލޯބިވެވޮޑިގެނެއް ނުވެތެވެ.

so shall we divert the advice away from you, because you are a nation that exceeds the limits?
ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން (كافر ކަމުގައި) ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިފައިވާ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައިވީތީވެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނާމެދު ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ قرآن ގެ وعظ ބާވައިނުލައްވައި ދޫކޮށްލައްވަންވީހެއްޔެވެ؟

and leave what your lord has created for you of your wives? nay, you are a people exceeding limits.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށްޓަކައި ހައްދަވައި (حلال ކުރައްވައި) ފައިވާ އަނބިން ދޫކުރަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟ އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނީ (ނުބައިކަންތަކުގައި) ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިދާ ބަޔަކީމުއެވެ.

and those who, when spending, neither exceed the limits nor act miserly, and stay in moderation between the two.
އަދި އެއުރެންނީ، އެއުރެން ހޭދައެއް ކޮށްފިނަމަ إسراف ނުކުރާ، އަދި މުށްބާރުވެސް ނުކުރާ، އަދި އެދެމެދުގައި މެދުމިންވެ ތިބޭމީހުންނެވެ.

fight in the cause of allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for allah loveth not transgressors.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނާ ހަނގުރާމަކުރާ މީހުންނާ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން اللَّه ގެ މަގުގައި ހަނގުރާމަ ކުރާށެވެ! އަދި (އެކަމުގައި) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން (އިސްވެ ހަނގުރާމަ ފެށުމުގެ ގޮތުން) ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައި ނުދާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން (އިސްވެ ހަނގުރާމަ ފެށުމުގެ ގޮތުން) ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިދާ މީހުންދެކެ اللَّه ލޯބިވެވޮޑިގެނެއްނުވެއެވެ.

do not overlook them to seek the worldly pleasures. do not obey those whom we have caused to neglect us and instead follow their own desires beyond all limits.
އަދި އެއުރެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ وجه ފުޅު އެދިގެން، އެކަލާނގެއަށް ހެނދުނާއި، ހަވީރު دعاء ކޮށް އަޅުކަންކޮށްއުޅޭ މީހުންނާއެކު، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ نفس ހިފަހައްޓަވައި، ކެތްކުރައްވާށެވެ! އަދި ދުނިޔޭގެ ދިރިއުޅުމުގެ ޒީނަތްތެރިކަން އެދިވަޑައިގެން، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ލޯފުޅު، އެއުރެން ފިޔަވައި ފަހަނަޅައި ދިޔަނުދެއްވާށެވެ! އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ހަނދުމަކުރުމުން، އެމީހެއްގެ ހިތް غافل ކުރައްވައި، އަދި އެމީހެއްގެ އަމިއްލަ އެދުމަށް تبع ވެ، އަދި އެމީހެއްގެ ކަންތައް (ނުބައިކަމުގައި) ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިފައިވާ މީހަކަށް، ކަލޭގެފާނު ކިޔަމަންވެ ވަޑައިނުގަންނަވާށެވެ!

and fight in allah's cause against those who fight you and do not exceed the limits; and allah does not like the transgressors.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނާ ހަނގުރާމަކުރާ މީހުންނާ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން اللَّه ގެ މަގުގައި ހަނގުރާމަ ކުރާށެވެ! އަދި (އެކަމުގައި) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން (އިސްވެ ހަނގުރާމަ ފެށުމުގެ ގޮތުން) ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައި ނުދާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން (އިސްވެ ހަނގުރާމަ ފެށުމުގެ ގޮތުން) ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިދާ މީހުންދެކެ اللَّه ލޯބިވެވޮޑިގެނެއްނުވެއެވެ.

and diverse adornments; and all this is usage only of the life of this world; and the hereafter with your lord, is for the pious.
އަދި (އެތަކެއްޗަށް) ޒީނަތްތެރިކަން ލެއްވީމުހެވެ. އެހުރިހާ ތަކެއްޗަކީ، ދުނިޔޭގެ ދިރިއުޅުމުގެ ވަގުތީ އަރާމެއްކަމުގައިނޫނީ ނުވެެތެވެ. އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ގައި تقوى ވެރިންނަށް آخرة ގެ نعمة ހުށްޓެވެ.

and whoso disobeyeth allah and his messenger and transgresseth his limits, he will make him enter fire, where he will dwell for ever; his will be a shameful doom.
އަދި، اللَّه އަށާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول އާއަށް އުރެދި، އެކަލާނގެ ކަނޑައަޅުއްވާފައިވާ އިންތައް ފަހަނަޅައިދާމީހަކު، ނަރަކަޔަށް ވައްދަވާނެތެވެ. އެތާނގައި އެމީހަކު ދެމިހުންނަނިވި ގޮތުގައެވެ. އަދި، އެމީހަކަށް އިހާނަތްތެރިކަން ދެނިވި عذاب ހުށްޓެވެ.

"and leave those whom allah has created for you to be your mates? nay, ye are a people transgressing (all limits)!"
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށްޓަކައި ހައްދަވައި (حلال ކުރައްވައި) ފައިވާ އަނބިން ދޫކުރަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟ އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނީ (ނުބައިކަންތަކުގައި) ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިދާ ބަޔަކީމުއެވެ.
