and the companions of the wood were also wrong-doers;
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، الأيكة ގެ أهل ވެރިން، އަނިޔާވެރި ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައިވީކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

and the dwellers of the wood surely were wrong-doers.

އަދި އެއުރެންނީ، އެއުރެންނަށް އަނިޔާވެރިވުމެއް އަންނަހިނދު، نصر ލިބިގަންނަ މީހުންނެވެ.

and those who, when great wrong is done to them, defend themselves,
އަދި އެއުރެންނީ، އެއުރެންނަށް އަނިޔާވެރިވުމެއް އަންނަހިނދު، نصر ލިބިގަންނަ މީހުންނެވެ.

and we wronged them not, but they have been the wrong- doers themselves.

އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ قوم ގެބޮޑުން ބުނޫއެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އަހުރެމެންނަށް ފެންނަނީ، ފާޅުވެގެންވާ ފުރެދުމެއްގައި ކަލޭގެފާނު ވާތީއެވެ.

އެއުރެން ބުނޫއެވެ. ތިމަންމެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ، ހުސްطاهر ވަންތަކަމާއެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންމެންވީ އަނިޔާވެރިންކަމުގައެވެ.

and if he be of those who treat (truth) as falsehood, who go wrong,
އަދި ދޮގުކޮށް، މަގުފުރެދޭ މީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން އެމީހަކުވާނަމަ، ދަންނާށެވެ!

but whosoever does deeds of righteousness, being a believer, shall fear neither wrong nor injustice.
އަދި مؤمن އަކު ކަމުގައިވާ حال، صالح عمل ތައް ކުރާމީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އަނިޔާއެއް ލިބިދާނެކަމަކަށް އަދި حق އެއް އުނިވެދާނެކަމަކަށްވެސް އޭނާ ބިރެއް ނުގަންނާނެތެވެ.

they said, “by god, god has preferred you over us. we were definitely in the wrong.”
އެއުރެން ދެންނެވޫއެވެ. اللَّه ގަންދީ ބުނަމުއެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه ތިމަންމެންގެ މައްޗަށް ކަލޭގެފާނު މަތިވެރިކުރައްވައި، މާތްކުރެއްވިއެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންމެންވަނީ، ކުށްވެރިން ކަމުގައެވެ.
