اللہ اس بات کو معاف نہیں کرسکتا کہ اس کا شریک قرار دیا جائے اور اس کے علاوہ جس کو چاہے بخش سکتا ہے اور جو بھی اس کا شریک بنائے گا اس نے بہت بڑا گناہ کیا ہے

say to them: 'people of the book! do you hate us for anything else except that we believe in allah, and in the teaching which has been revealed to us and in the teaching which was revealed before? indeed most of you are transgressors.'
(اے رسول(ص)) کہیے! اے اہل کتاب تم ہم پر کیا عیب لگاتے ہو؟ یہی کہ ہم اللہ پر، جو کچھ ہم پر اتارا گیا ہے۔ اس پر اور جو اس سے پہلے اتارا گیا، اس پر ایمان لائے ہیں (حقیقت یہ ہے کہ) تم میں سے زیادہ تر فاسق (نافرمان) ہیں۔
