(انہوں نے) کہا ہم آپ کو سچی خوشخبری دیتے ہیں آپ مایوس نہ ہوئیے

(o prophet), do not grieve over them, nor be distressed at their designs.
آپ ان کے بارے میں غم نہ کریں اور ان کے داؤں گھات سے تنگ دل نہ ہوں

believers! do not be unfaithful to allah and the messenger, nor be knowingly unfaithful to your trusts.
ایمان والو خدا و رسول اور اپنی امانتوں کے بارے میں خیانت نہ کرو جب کہ تم جانتے بھی ہو

and do not walk haughtily on the earth; you can never split the earth, nor be as high as the hills.
اور روئے زمین پر اکڑ کر نہ چلنا کہ نہ تم زمین کو شق کرسکتے ہو اور نہ سر اٹھا کر پہاڑوں کی بلندیوں تک پہنچ سکتے ہو

so do not become weak (against your enemy), nor be sad, and you will be superior (in victory) if you are indeed (true) believers.
اور (دیکھو) بے دل نہ ہونا اور نہ کسی طرح کا غم کرنا اگر تم مومن (صادق) ہو تو تم ہی غالب رہو گے

so do not lose heart or appeal for peace when you have gained the upper hand. god is with you and will never let your works go to waste.
(اے مومنو!) پس تم ہمت نہ ہارو اور ان (متحارب کافروں) سے صلح کی درخواست نہ کرو (کہیں تمہاری کمزوری ظاہر نہ ہو)، اور تم ہی غالب رہو گے، اور اﷲ تمہارے ساتھ ہے اور وہ تمہارے اعمال (کا ثواب) ہرگز کم نہ کرے گا،

“o my sons, go and search for yusuf and his brother, and do not lose hope in the mercy of allah; indeed none lose hope in the mercy of allah except the disbelieving people.”
اے بیٹو! جا ؤ یوسف اور اس کے بھائی کا سراغ لگاؤ اور اللہ کی رحمت سے مایوس نہ ہو، بیشک اللہ کی رحمت سے نا امید نہیں ہوتے مگر کافر لوگ

proclaim (o dear prophet mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “o my* slaves, who have wronged themselves, do not lose hope in allah’s mercy; indeed allah forgives all sins; indeed he only is the oft forgiving, the most merciful.” (all muslims are truly the slaves of prophet mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him.)
(اے نبیؐ) کہہ دو کہ اے میرے بندو، جنہوں نے اپنی جانوں پر زیادتی کی ہے، اللہ کی رحمت سے مایوس نہ ہو جاؤ، یقیناً اللہ سارے گناہ معاف کر دیتا ہے، وہ تو غفور و رحیم ہے
