(سائل سے) نرمی کے ساتھ گفتگو کرنا اور درگزر کرنا اس صدقہ سے کہیں بہتر ہے جس کے بعد (اس کی) دل آزاری ہو، اور اﷲ بے نیاز بڑا حلم والا ہے،

glory to allah! (he is free) from the things they ascribe (to him)!
(اور وہ کہتے ہیں کہ) "اللہ اُن صفات سے پاک ہے

moses replied, "the knowledge about it is with my lord in the book. my lord is free from error and forgetfulness.
(موسٰی علیہ السلام نے) فرمایا: ان کا علم میرے رب کے پاس کتاب میں (محفوظ) ہے، نہ میرا رب بھٹکتا ہے اور نہ بھولتا ہے،

and whoever strives only strives for [the benefit of] himself. indeed, allah is free from need of the worlds.
اور جس نے بھی جہاد کیا ہے اس نے اپنے لئے جہاد کیا ہے اور اللہ تو سارے عالمین سے بے نیاز ہے

glory to thy lord, the lord of honour and power! (he is free) from what they ascribe (to him)!
آپ کا رب پاک ہے عزت کا مالک ان باتوں سے جو وہ بیان کرتے ہیں

to allah belong all things in heaven and earth: verily allah is he (that is) free of all wants, worthy of all praise.
آسمانوں اور زمین میں جو کچھ ہے اللہ ہی کا ہے، بے شک اللہ بے نیاز اور آپ سے آپ محمود ہے

and moses said, "if you should disbelieve, you and whoever is on the earth entirely - indeed, allah is free of need and praiseworthy."
اور موسٰی (علیہ السلام) نے کہا: اگر تم اور وہ سب کے سب لوگ جو زمین میں ہیں کفر کرنے لگیں تو بیشک اللہ (ان سب سے) یقیناً بے نیاز لائقِ حمد و ثنا ہے،

and whosoever strives, he strives only for himself. verily, allah is free of all wants from the 'alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists).
اور جس نے بھی جہاد کیا ہے اس نے اپنے لئے جہاد کیا ہے اور اللہ تو سارے عالمین سے بے نیاز ہے
