اب وقت کیا ہو رہا ہے

اور آخرت تمہارے لئے دنیا سے کہیں زیادہ بہتر ہے

and the last shall be better for thee than the first.
اور آخرت تمہارے لئے دنیا سے کہیں زیادہ بہتر ہے

let it be my brother aaron
(وہ) میرا بھائی ہارون (علیہ السلام) ہو،

and the hereafter shall be better for you than the world.
اور آخرت تمہارے لئے دنیا سے کہیں زیادہ بہتر ہے

even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever.
اور آخرت بہت بہتر اور بہت بقا والی ہے

could it be, that if you turn away, you might make corruption in the land and break the ties of kinship?
(اے منافقو!) تم سے عجب نہیں کہ اگر تم حاکم ہو جاؤ تو ملک میں خرابی کرنے لگو اور اپنے رشتوں کو توڑ ڈالو

if you want retaliation, let it be equal to that which you faced. but if you exercise patience it will be better for you.
اور اگر بدلہ لو بھی تو بالکل اتنا ہی جتنا صدمہ تمہیں پہنچایا گیا ہو اور اگر صبر کرلو تو بےشک صابروں کے لئے یہی بہتر ہے

did they not see that it did not answer them, nor could it bring them any benefit or harm?
بھلا کیا وہ (اتنا بھی) نہیں دیکھتے تھے کہ وہ (بچھڑا) انہیں کسی بات کا جواب (بھی) نہیں دے سکتا اور نہ ان کے لئے کسی نقصان کا اختیار رکھتا ہے اور نہ نفع کا،

how could it have harmed them if they had believed in god and the last day and spent their property for the cause of god? god knows them very well
آخر اِن لوگوں پر کیا آفت آ جاتی اگر یہ اللہ اور روز آخر پر ایمان رکھتے اور جو کچھ اللہ نے دیا ہے اس میں سے خرچ کرتے اگر یہ ایسا کرتے تو اللہ سے ان کی نیکی کا حال چھپا نہ رہ جاتا
