اور اگر آپ انہیں ہدایت کی طرف دعوت دیں تو ساتھ بھی نہ آئیں گے ان کے لئے سب برابر ہے انہیں بلائیں یا چپ رہ جائیں

اور اگر تو مجھے قتل کرنے کے لیے مجھ پر ہاتھ چلائے گا تو میں تجھ کو قتل کرنے کے لئے تجھ پر ہاتھ نہیں چلاؤں گا مجھے تو خدائے رب العالمین سے ڈر لگتا ہے

اور اگر آپ انہیں ہدایت کی طرف دعوت دیں تو ساتھ بھی نہ آئیں گے ان کے لئے سب برابر ہے انہیں بلائیں یا چپ رہ جائیں

and brought their hearts together. if you had given away all the riches of the earth, you could not have so united them, but allah has united them. he isalmighty, wise.
ان کے دلوں میں باہمی الفت بھی اسی نے ڈالی ہے۔ زمین میں جو کچھ ہے تو اگر سارا کا سارا بھی خرچ کر ڈالتا ہے تو بھی ان کے دل آپس میں نہ ملا سکتا۔ یہ تو اللہ ہی نے ان میں الفت ڈال دی ہے وه غالب حکمتوں واﻻ ہے

(اے رسول) جن لوگوں نے کفر اختیار کیا۔ ان کے لیے برابر ہے۔ آپ انہیں ڈرائیں یا نہ ڈرائیں۔ بہرحال وہ ایمان نہیں لائیں گے۔

and we did not send before you except men, towards whom we sent divine revelations – so o people, ask the people of knowledge if you do not know. (* all the prophets were men.)
اور ہم نے تجھ سے پہلے بھی تو انسان ہی بھیجے تھے جن کی طرف ہم وحی بھیجا کرتے تھے سو اگر تمہیں معلوم نہیں تو اہلِ علم سے پوچھ لو

and he taught adam all the names, then presented them to the angels; then he said: tell me the names of those if you are right.
اس کے بعد اللہ نے آدمؑ کو ساری چیزوں کے نام سکھائے، پھر انہیں فرشتوں کے سامنے پیش کیا اور فرمایا "اگر تمہارا خیال صحیح ہے (کہ کسی خلیفہ کے تقرر سے انتظام بگڑ جائے گا) تو ذرا ان چیزوں کے نام بتاؤ"
