اس فرماں برداری (اسلام) کے سوا جو شخص کوئی اور طریقہ اختیار کرنا چاہے اس کا وہ طریقہ ہرگز قبول نہ کیا جائے گا اور آخرت میں وہ ناکام و نامراد رہے گا

should anyone follow a religion other than islam, it shall never be accepted from him, and he will be among the losers in the hereafter.
اس فرماں برداری (اسلام) کے سوا جو شخص کوئی اور طریقہ اختیار کرنا چاہے اس کا وہ طریقہ ہرگز قبول نہ کیا جائے گا اور آخرت میں وہ ناکام و نامراد رہے گا

and whoever desires other than islam as religion - never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the hereafter, will be among the losers.
اس فرماں برداری (اسلام) کے سوا جو شخص کوئی اور طریقہ اختیار کرنا چاہے اس کا وہ طریقہ ہرگز قبول نہ کیا جائے گا اور آخرت میں وہ ناکام و نامراد رہے گا

indeed those who disbelieve after having accepted faith, and advance further in their disbelief – their repentance will never be accepted; and it is they who are the astray.
بیشک جن لوگوں نے اپنے ایمان کے بعد کفر کیا پھر وہ کفر میں بڑھتے گئے ان کی توبہ ہرگز قبول نہیں کی جائے گے، اور وہی لوگ گمراہ ہیں،

say, "whether you spend your wealth for the cause of god, willingly or reluctantly, it will never be accepted from you; you are an evil doing people."
ان سے کہو "تم اپنے مال خواہ راضی خوشی خرچ کرو یا بکراہت، بہر حال وہ قبول نہ کیے جائیں گے کیونکہ تم فاسق لوگ ہو"

indeed, those who reject the message after their belief and then increase in disbelief - never will their [claimed] repentance be accepted, and they are the ones astray.
بیشک جن لوگوں نے اپنے ایمان کے بعد کفر کیا پھر وہ کفر میں بڑھتے گئے ان کی توبہ ہرگز قبول نہیں کی جائے گے، اور وہی لوگ گمراہ ہیں،

this is because allah has never changed a favor which he has conferred upon a people until they change their own condition; and because allah is hearing, knowing;
اس کا سبب یہ ہے کہ الله ہر گز اس نعمت کو نہیں بدلتا جو اس نے کسی قوم کو دی تھی جب تک وہ خود اپنے دلوں کی حالت نہ بدلیں اوراس لیے کہ الله سننے والا جاننے والا ہے

among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with allah: of them some have completed their vow (to the extreme), and some (still) wait: but they have never changed (their determination) in the least:
اور اہلِ ایمان میں سے کچھ ایسے بھی ہیں جنہوں نے وہ عہد و پیمان سچا کر دکھایا جو اللہ سے کیا تھا۔ سو ان میں سے کچھ وہ ہیں جو اپنا وقت پورا کر چکے ہیں اور کچھ اس (وقت) کا انتظار کر رہے ہیں اور انہوں نے (اپنی روش میں) ذرا بھی تبدیلی نہیں کی۔
