then on that day allah will chastise as none other can chastise;
تو اس دن اس کا سا عذاب کوئی نہیں کرتا،

then allah will accept repentance after that for whom he wills; and allah is forgiving and merciful.
اس کے بعد اللہ جس کی چاہتا ہے توبہ قبول کرتا ہے (اور اسے توفیقِ توبہ دیتا ہے) اور اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا، بڑا رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

then after that allah will accept the repentance of whom he will. and allah is oft-forgiving, most merciful.
اس کے بعد اللہ جس کی چاہتا ہے توبہ قبول کرتا ہے (اور اسے توفیقِ توبہ دیتا ہے) اور اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا، بڑا رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

that day (allah) will call to them, and say: "what was the answer ye gave to the messengers?"

but whoever repents after his crime, and reforms, god will accept his repentance. god is forgiving and merciful.

and (remember) the day (allah) will call to them, and say: "what answer gave you to the messengers?"
اس دن انہیں بلا کر پوچھے گا کہ تم نے نبیوں کو کیا جواب دیا؟

that day (allah) will call to them, and say "where are my 'partners'?- whom ye imagined (to be such)?"
اور (بھول نہ جائیں یہ لوگ) اُس دن کو جب کہ وہ اِن کو پکارے گا اور پوچھے گا "کہاں ہیں میرے وہ شریک جن کا تم گمان رکھتے تھے؟"

[acceptance of] repentance by allah is only for those who commit evil out of ignorance and then repent promptly. it is such whose repentance allah will accept, and allah is all-knowing, all-wise.
الله پر توبہ قبول کرنے کا حق انہیں لوگو ں کے لیے ہے جو جہالت کی وجہ سے برا کام کرتے ہیں اس کے بعد جلد ہی توبہ کر لیتے ہیں ان لوگو ں کو الله معاف کر دیتا ہے اور الله سب کچھ جاننے والا دانا ہے

and your lord proclaimed, “pray to me, i will accept; indeed those who stay conceited towards worshipping me, will enter hell in disgrace."
اور تمہارے رب نے فرمایا ہے مجھے پکارو میں تمہاری دعا قبول کروں گا بے شک جو لوگ میری عبادت سے سرکشی کرتے ہیں عنقریب وہ ذلیل ہو کر دوزخ میں داخل ہوں گے

(allah will accept) no repentance from those who do evil deeds until death comes to one of them, he says: 'now i repent' nor those who die unbelieving. for those we have prepared a painful punishment.
ان لوگوں کی توبہ (قبول) نہیں ہے۔ جو (زندگی بھر) برائیاں کرتے رہتے ہیں، یہاں تک کہ جب ان میں سے کسی کی موت کا وقت آجاتا ہے، تو وہ کہتا ہے، اس وقت میں توبہ کرتا ہوں۔ اور نہ ہی ان کے لیے توبہ ہے۔ جو کفر کی حالت میں مرتے ہیں۔ یہ وہ ہیں جن کے لیے ہم نے دردناک عذاب مہیا کر رکھا ہے۔

those who listen (in truth), be sure, will accept: as to the dead, allah will raise them up; then will they be turned unto him.
بات یہ ہے کہ (حق کو) قبول وہی کرتے ہیں جو سنتے بھی ہیں اور مردوں کو تو خدا (قیامت ہی کو) اٹھائے گا۔ پھر اسی کی طرف لوٹ کر جائیں گے
