and the worldly life is not but amusement and diversion; but the home of the hereafter is best for those who fear allah, so will you not reason?

the worldly life is not more than a childish game. it is the life hereafter which will be the real life, if only they knew it.
اور (اے لوگو!) یہ دنیا کی زندگی کھیل اور تماشے کے سوا کچھ نہیں ہے، اور حقیقت میں آخرت کا گھر ہی (صحیح) زندگی ہے۔ کاش! وہ لوگ (یہ راز) جانتے ہوتے،

and this worldly life is not but diversion and amusement. and indeed, the home of the hereafter - that is the [eternal] life, if only they knew.
اور (اے لوگو!) یہ دنیا کی زندگی کھیل اور تماشے کے سوا کچھ نہیں ہے، اور حقیقت میں آخرت کا گھر ہی (صحیح) زندگی ہے۔ کاش! وہ لوگ (یہ راز) جانتے ہوتے،

allah extends provision for whom he wills and restricts [it]. and they rejoice in the worldly life, while the worldly life is not, compared to the hereafter, except [brief] enjoyment.
