(اے منافقو!) تم سے عجب نہیں کہ اگر تم حاکم ہو جاؤ تو ملک میں خرابی کرنے لگو اور اپنے رشتوں کو توڑ ڈالو

he would drive you out of your land through his magic; what then is it ye command?
اس کا مقصد یہ ہے کہ جادو کے زور پر تمہیں تمہاری زمین سے نکال باہر کردے تو اب تمہاری رائے کیا ہے

is it you who caused it to descend from the cloud, or is it we who cause it to descend?
اسے بادلوں سے بھی تم ہی اتارتے ہو یا ہم برساتے ہیں؟

then is it that when it has [actually] occurred you will believe in it? now? and you were [once] for it impatient
تو کیا تم عذاب کے نازل ہونے کے بعد ایمان لاؤ گے .... اور کیا اب ایمان لاؤ گے جب کہ تم عذاب کی جلدی مچائے ہوئے تھے
