observe what kind of things they attribute to you. they have surely gone astray and cannot find the right way again.
(اے حبیبِ مکرّم!) ملاحظہ فرمائیے یہ لوگ آپ کے لئے کیسی (کیسی) مثالیں بیان کرتے ہیں پس یہ گمراہ ہو چکے ہیں سو یہ (ہدایت کا) کوئی راستہ نہیں پا سکتے،

they say, "what kind of a messenger is this who eats food and walks about in the market-places? why has no angel been sent down with him to warn us?"
اور انہوں نے کہا کہ یہ کیسا رسول ہے؟ کہ کھانا کھاتا ہے اور بازاروں میں چلتا پھرتا ہے، اس کے پاس کوئی فرشتہ کیوں نہیں بھیجا جاتا؟ کہ وه بھی اس کے ساتھ ہو کر ڈرانے واﻻ بن جاتا

see what kinds of comparisons they make for thee! but they have gone astray, and never a way will they be able to find!
(اے حبیبِ مکرّم!) ملاحظہ فرمائیے یہ لوگ آپ کے لئے کیسی (کیسی) مثالیں بیان کرتے ہیں پس یہ گمراہ ہو چکے ہیں سو یہ (ہدایت کا) کوئی راستہ نہیں پا سکتے،

have they not considered the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and everything that god has created? perhaps death approaches them. in what kind of guidance can they have faith besides that of the quran?
اور کیا ان لوگوں نے زمین و آسمان کی حکومت اور خدا کی تمام مخلوقات میں غور نہیں کیا اور یہ کہ شاید ان کی اجل قریب آگئی ہو تو یہ اس کے بعد کس بات پر ایمان لے آئیں گے
