اور الله کے سوا ان کی عبادت کرتے ہیں جو آسمانوں ارو زمین سے انہیں رزق پہنچانے میں کچھ بھی اختیارنہیں رکھتے اور نہ رکھ سکتے ہیں

and whenever a messenger came to them from allah, confirming that scripture which they already possessed, some from among the people of the book threw the book of allah behind their backs as though they knew nothing about it.
اور (اسی طرح) جب ان کے پاس اللہ کی جانب سے رسول (حضرت محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) آئے جو اس کتاب کی (اصلاً) تصدیق کرنے والے ہیں جو ان کے پاس (پہلے سے) موجود تھی تو (انہی) اہلِ کتاب میں سے ایک گروہ نے اللہ کی (اسی) کتاب (تورات) کو پسِ پشت پھینک دیا، گویا وہ (اس کو) جانتے ہی نہیں (حالانکہ اسی تورات نے انہیں نبی آخرالزماں حضرت محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی تشریف آوری کی خبر دی تھی)،

a monstrous jinn said, "i can bring it before you even stand up. i am powerful and trustworthy".
ایک بڑا خبیث جن بولا کہ میں وہ تخت حضور میں حاضر کردوں گا قبل اس کے کہ حضور اجلاس برخاست کریں اور میں بیشک اس پر قوت والا امانتدار ہوں

we relate unto you (muhammad saw) the best of stories through our revelations unto you, of this quran. and before this (i.e. before the coming of divine inspiration to you), you were among those who knew nothing about it (the quran).
(اے حبیب!) ہم آپ سے ایک بہترین قصہ بیان کرتے ہیں اس قرآن کے ذریعہ جسے ہم نے آپ کی طرف وحی کیا ہے، اگرچہ آپ اس سے قبل (اس قصہ سے) بے خبر تھے،

o messenger (muhammad saw)! let not those who hurry to fall into disbelief grieve you, of such who say: "we believe" with their mouths but their hearts have no faith. and of the jews are men who listen much and eagerly to lies - listen to others who have not come to you. they change the words from their places; they say, "if you are given this, take it, but if you are not given this, then beware!" and whomsoever allah wants to put in al-fitnah [error, because of his rejecting the faith], you can do nothing for him against allah. those are the ones whose hearts allah does not want to purify (from disbelief and hypocrisy); for them there is a disgrace in this world, and in the hereafter a great torment.
اے رسول انکا غم نہ کر جو دوڑ کر کفر میں گرتے ہیں وہ لوگ جو اپنے منہ سے کہتے ہیں کہ ہم مومن ہیں حالانکہ ان کے دل مومن نہیں ہیں اور وہ جو یہودی ہیں جھوٹ بولنے کے لیے جاسوسی کرتے ہیں وہ دوسری جماعت کے جاسوس ہیں جو تجھ تک نہیں آئی بات کو اس کےٹھکانے سے بدل دیتے ہیں کہتے ہیں کہ تمہیں یہ حکم ملے تو قبول کر لینا اور اگر یہ نہ ملے تو بچتے رہنا اور جسے الله گمراہ کرنا چاہے سو تو الله کے ہاں ا سکے لیے کچھ نہیں کر سکتا یہ وہی لوگ ہیں جن کے دل پاک کرنے کا الله نے ارادہ نہیں کیا ان کے لیے دنیا میں ذلت ہے اور آخرت میں بڑا عذا ب ہے
