deforestation is one of the major problems we are facing today. cutting down of trees &forests by mankind or even naturally is known as deforestation. trees & plants are the gift of nature which grows from mother earth. trees not only provide us with food & shade but even are houses to animals & birds. they help in various other ways to make our world a better & healthier place to live in. but nowadays mankind is up to destroying huge forests & trees for the benefit of themselves. there are numerous disadvantages of deforestation which is directly or indirectly harming us with deforestation we are destroying the rich wild life. many birds & animals are becoming endangered & extinct due to deforestation. trees are the giver of fresh oxygen & taking in carbon dioxide. with deforestation we are increasing of carbon dioxide & other harmful gases. deforestation causes the toes of the bio-diversity & the forest habitat, cutting down of trees also increase global warming because of the have harmful gases. almost one fifth of the amazon rainforest has been cleared which is increasing the devastation day by day. after clearing of tree & forests the soil becomes useless for cultivation, & becomes weak & can be easily washed away. this is known as soil erosion.
