i use the outliner a lot, and i must say that i'd love it to be a more complete tool like described by kattkieru.
eu uso bastante o outliner, e confesso que um dos meus grandes desejos desde que comecei a usá-lo é que ele funcionasse de acordo com a proposta.

on the top bar, you have your nation's flag, name and values showing several key resources. in the top right corner you have the game speed control and a button to open and close the outliner (a handy list of shortcuts). in the lower part of your screen is the message log, keeping you informed of events around the world. in the lower right corner is the mini-map and the game menu bar. the largest part of the screen is taken up by the map, and of course this is where the main interaction takes place
na barra superior, tem a bandeira de sua nação, o nome e valores que mostram diversos recursos chave. no canto superior direito, está o controle de velocidade do jogo e um botão para abrir e fechar o breviário (uma lista dos atalhos). na parte inferior se encontra o registro de mensagens, que mantêm você informado do que se passa no mundo. no canto inferior direito está o minimapa e a barra de menu de jogo. a maior parte da tela está ocupada pelo mapa e aí é onde está a principal interação.
