but as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by god, saying,
ܥܠ ܩܝܡܬܐ ܕܝܢ ܕܡܝܬܐ ܠܐ ܩܪܝܬܘܢ ܡܕܡ ܕܐܬܐܡܪ ܠܟܘܢ ܡܢ ܐܠܗܐ ܕܐܡܪ

and with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the lord jesus: and great grace was upon them all.
ܘܒܚܝܠܐ ܪܒܐ ܡܤܗܕܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܗܢܘܢ ܫܠܝܚܐ ܥܠ ܩܝܡܬܗ ܕܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܘܛܝܒܘܬܐ ܪܒܬܐ ܐܝܬ ܗܘܬ ܥܡ ܟܠܗܘܢ

and declared to be the son of god with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:
ܘܐܬܝܕܥ ܒܪܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܒܚܝܠ ܘܒܪܘܚ ܩܕܘܫ ܕܩܡ ܡܢ ܒܝܬ ܡܝܬܐ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܡܪܢ

and thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.
ܘܛܘܒܝܟ ܕܠܝܬ ܠܗܘܢ ܕܢܦܪܥܘܢܟ ܢܗܘܐ ܓܝܪ ܦܘܪܥܢܟ ܒܩܝܡܐ ܕܙܕܝܩܐ

and have hope toward god, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.

blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of god and of christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
