this study explores how chatbots are seen by learners in senior high school senior high school students have varying levels of perception on al chatbots along different dimensions: anthropomorphism shows a negative perception as its average is 2.56, animacy is considered neutral perception as its average is 2.95 while likeability is also perceived in a neutral perception since its average is 3.57. however, students generally have a positive perception on intelligence about al chatbots (mean = 3.58). furthermore, they rated their security perceptions at an average point which is neutral perception (mean-3.19).
