o you who have believed, respond to allah and to the messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. and know that allah intervenes between a man and his heart and that to him you will be gathered.
Эй касоне, ки имон овардаед, чун Худову паёмбараш шуморо ба чизе даъват кунанд, ки зиндагиятон мебахшад, даъваташонро қабул кунед ва бидонед, ки Худо миёни одамӣ ва қалбаш ҳоил аст ва ҳама ба пешгоҳи Ӯ гирд оварда шавед!

have you then considered him who takes his low desire for his god, and allah has made him err having knowledge and has set a seal upon his ear and his heart and put a covering upon his eye.
Оё он касро, ки ҳавасашро чун худои худ гирифт ва Худо аз рӯи илм гумроҳаш кард ва бар гӯшу дилаш мӯҳр ниҳод ва бар дидагонаш парда афканд, дидаӣ?

and recall when you killed a person, and disputed in the matter; but god was to expose what you were hiding.
Ва ба ёд оред он ҳангомро, ки касеро куштед ва бар якдигар бӯҳтон задед ва низоъ даргирифтед ва Худо он чиро, ки пинҳон мекардед, ошкор сохт.

beholdest thou him who taketh for his god his own vain desire, and allah hath sent him astray despite his knowledge, and hath sealed up his hearing and his heart, and hath set on his sight a covering?
Оё он касро, ки ҳавасашро чун худои худ гирифт ва Худо аз рӯи илм гумроҳаш кард ва бар гӯшу дилаш мӯҳр ниҳод ва бар дидагонаш парда афканд, дидаӣ?

just look at him who makes his desire as his god, and allah has sent him astray despite his having knowledge, and set a seal upon his ears and his heart, and a covering upon his eyes; so who will guide him after allah?
Оё он касро, ки ҳавасашро чун худои худ гирифт ва Худо аз рӯи илм гумроҳаш кард ва бар гӯшу дилаш мӯҳр ниҳод ва бар дидагонаш парда афканд, дидаӣ? Агар Худо ҳидоят накунад, чӣ касе ӯро ҳидоят хоҳад кард?

hast thou seen him who has taken his caprice to be his god, and god has led him astray out of a knowledge, and set a seal upon his hearing and his heart, and laid a covering on his eyes?

indeed, those who disbelieve in allah and his messengers and wish to discriminate between allah and his messengers and say, "we believe in some and disbelieve in others," and wish to adopt a way in between -
Касоне ҳастанд, ки ба Худо ва паёмбаронаш кофир мешаванд ва мехоҳанд миёни Худову паёмбаронаш ҷудоӣ афкананд ва мегӯянд, ки баъзеро мепазирем ва баъзеро намепазирем ва мехоҳанд дар мобайни куфру имон роҳ гиред.

o you who believe! answer allah (by obeying him) and (his) messenger when he (saw) calls you to that which will give you life, and know that allah comes in between a person and his heart (i.e. he prevents an evil person to decide anything). and verily to him you shall (all) be gathered.
Эй касоне, ки имон овардаед, чун Худову паёмбараш шуморо ба чизе даъват кунанд, ки зиндагиятон мебахшад, даъваташонро қабул кунед ва бидонед, ки Худо миёни одамӣ ва қалбаш ҳоил аст ва ҳама ба пешгоҳи Ӯ гирд оварда шавед!

have you seen him who takes his own lust (vain desires) as his ilah (god), and allah knowing (him as such), left him astray, and sealed his hearing and his heart, and put a cover on his sight.
Оё он касро, ки ҳавасашро чун худои худ гирифт ва Худо аз рӯи илм гумроҳаш кард ва бар гӯшу дилаш мӯҳр ниҳод ва бар дидагонаш парда афканд, дидаӣ?

those who disbelieve in god and his messengers, and want to separate between god and his messengers, and say, “we believe in some, and reject some,” and wish to take a path in between.
Касоне ҳастанд, ки ба Худо ва паёмбаронаш кофир мешаванд ва мехоҳанд миёни Худову паёмбаронаш ҷудоӣ афкананд ва мегӯянд, ки баъзеро мепазирем ва баъзеро намепазирем ва мехоҳанд дар мобайни куфру имон роҳ гиред.

but the two angels do not teach anyone unless they say, "we are a trial, so do not disbelieve [by practicing magic]." and [yet] they learn from them that by which they cause separation between a man and his wife.
Ва низ он афсун, ки бар он ду фаришта ---- Ҳорут ва Морут дар Бобул нозил шуд, дар ҳоле, ки, он ду ба ҳар кас, ки ҷодугарӣ меомӯхтанд, мегуфтанд: «Кори мо фитна аст, мабод кофир шавӣ».
