but as for one who is miserly and unheeding,
Аммо он кас кӣ бахиливу беэҳтиёҷӣ кард.

you are the one who is intelligent and wise.”
Ба ростӣ ту марде бурдбору хирадманд ҳастӣ».

the beneficent one, who is established on the throne.
Худои раҳмон бар арш истилову иҳота дорад.

except one who is (destined) to burn in hell.
магар он касро, ки роҳии ҷаҳаннам бошад.

and the scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth.
ва ҷаҳаннамро ба ҳар кӣ мебинад нишон диҳанд,

thus allah keepeth astray one who is extravagant and a doubter.
Худо таҷовузкори шаковарандаро ин гуна гумроҳ месозад!

any one who exceeds the limits set by god sins against his own self.
Инҳо аҳкоми Худованд аст ва ҳар кӣ аз он таҷовуз кунад, ба худ ситам кардааст.

as a rich provision from one who is ever forgiving and most merciful."
Меҳмоннавозист аз ҷониби Худои бахшояндаи меҳрубон.

who is the one who gives protection and yet he himself is never protected?"
Кист он, ки ба ҳама кас паноҳ диҳад ва касеро аз ӯ паноҳ нест?»

one who is sick or on a journey has to fast the same number of days at another time.
Ҳар кас, ки аз шумо бемор ё дар сафар бошад, ба ҳамон адад аз рӯзҳои дигар рӯза бидорад.

you have received this quran from one who is all-wise, all-knowing.
Ту касе ҳастӣ, ки Қуръон аз ҷониби Худои ҳакиму доно ба ту нозил мешавад.

a scripture whose verses were perfected, then elaborated, from one who is wise and informed.
Китобест бо оёте устувору равшан аз ҷониби ҳакиме огоҳ,

and assuredly we have destroyed your likes; so is there any one who shall be admonished?
Касонеро, ки монанди шумо буданд, ҳалок кардем. Оё пандгирандае ҳаст?

and they say, "none will enter paradise except one who is a jew or a christian."
Гуфтанд: «Ғайра яҳудон ва тарсоён касе ба биҳишт намеравад».

and contend thou not for those who defraud their souls verily allah loveth not one who is a defrauder, sinner.
Ва ба хотири касоне, ки ба худ хиёнат меварзанд, ҷонибдорӣ макун, ки Худо хоинони гӯнаҳкорро дӯст надорад.

and assuredly we have made the qur'an eary for admanirion: is there then any one who would be admonished.
Ва ин Қуръонро осон кардем, то аз он панд гиранд. Оё пандгирандае ҳаст?

(muhammad), can you make the deaf hear or guide the blind or the one who is clearly in error?
Оё ту мехоҳӣ ба карон сухан бишунавонӣ ё курон ва онҳоеро, ки дар гумроҳии ошкор ҳастанд, роҳ нишон диҳӣ?

["do you ascribe to god] one who is brought up among ornaments and who cannot produce a cogent argument?"
Оё он ки ба ороиш парвариш ёфта (яъне духтар) ва дар ҳангоми ҷидол ошкор намегардад, аз они Худост?

so any one who sees (and understands) does so for himself, and any one who turns blind shall suffer the consequences alone.
Ҳар кӣ аз рӯи ибрат менигарад, ба нафъи ӯст ва ҳар кӣ чашми ибрат барҳам пӯшад, ба зиёни ӯст.

[this is] a book whose verses are perfected and then presented in detail from [one who is] wise and acquainted.
Китобест бо оёте устувору равшан аз ҷониби ҳакиме огоҳ,
